Sorry but this mod works on a stupid premise. It basically makes it so the AI cant hit the broad side of a barn, for the sake of "immersion". This is directed at the maker, who seems to be an arrogant prick and conveniently dodges questions or suggestions about improving the accuracy. He thinks realism is happily prancing around unharmed with bullets whizzing past your head every which way, as in a movie. You can forget about snipers and marksmen.Deleting this crap. Now how the hell do I restore my profile settings.
I strongly disagree. This mod like all mods, is in a constant state of improvement. Im am very thankful to Protegimus for all his efforts. I think you have messed up your accuracy settings too much. You should look into your profile settings. Change the skill and accuracy settings to veteran default and then see how long you survive

thanks guys for this thread, im constantly amazed by this community and the amount of coolness that goes on here. Ive been using shoot for a while, but now i will try pilfius and compare results thanks mrcash!
One thing i should mention is that i was using a registry cleaner to do a "deep scan" of my reg, and it was removing something each time i ran it that caused the the SAPI 5.1 to not work. Also with shoot you will need .net framework 2.5 or higher , so watch for these
also i added, a target group and voice command "target" "2" and "no target" "2, 1" to the voice commands

Hi Manzilla, I cant seem to get a hold of the RKSL Flares addon, the site seems to be down. It still seems to be a requirement to play this mission. I did do an update but still I get the error.
oops forget that I found it on Armaholic! cant wait to try this out tonite

Hi Manzilla, i'm having trouble with starting this mission. When it starts to load i get the deleted content messeage "deleted.acex_c_veh_mi24, rksl_radarsys, jtd_fireandsmoke"I'am using all the required addons, which i got from Armaholic.com. Would you happen to know why i'm getting this message? Thank you in advance.
Im getting the samething. I think it means we also need JTD Fire/ smoke and that radar mod?

i got it working too with the config fix. I really like this mod. One question in terms of mod order what position should this be? before ACE, CBA, VOP, etc, or after?

edited the Aiming.pbo and changed 2 numberswhich numbers did you change? what values did you use to get those results? thanks!

With ACE teams permission, heres a compiled list of the hot keys for some of the new features:
Afterburners= caps lock
Close Quarters Battle Sights= shift+f
Crew Served Weapons= right windows
Eject System= \
Grenade Throw Modes=shift+H
Interaction with Others=RIGHT WINDOWS
NVG= PAGE UP PAGE DOWN

I just tried following that to the letter. (Minus the launcher)I actually thought I had it for a second. I go through Option 2 and all looks good. Everything is downloaded. When its finished and I exit and than go back and hit 23 start game, it begins loadeding and than it stops with the "Cannot find clientside config.hpp" file again.I really thought this might do the trick, but it doesn't look like it now/

you shouldnt need to create a user config file, a user config folder will get created for you-you have to move any user config folder you have inthere untill after the ACE install
4 things -1)be sure to wait for the whole process-it takes a while and seems to be finished, but then does some more unpacking etc. 2) try starting the mode with the shortcut thats in your ARM2 folder "Play ArmA2 with beta;@CBA;@ACE;@ACEX" 3. make sure you downloaded the correct yml file (lazy way link) there is one if your using vanilla and one if your using beta 4) be sure to delete any @CBA and user config folder (i moved these out and then after all was done put back the user configs into the new one that was created. 5) try the launcher!

Hi, first of all huge thanks to the ACE team for he effort. BIS+ACE=unlimited joy.To make myself a bit usefull, here is how i got it working:
1) download and install the 6th updater, but dont launch it yet
2) download all the 7zip files floating around (@CBA,@ACE,@ACEX)
3) copy those files to the folder the 6th updater is installed
4) delete any @CBA,@ACE,@ACEX,userconfig folders in your arma2 install dir or backup them
5) download the "lazy way config for 6th updater" already linked 100 times
6) copy the config six-updater.yml to the root of 6th updater
7) start the 6th updater, wait for the dos window with choices
8) press 2
9) press enter
10) wait until the "press enter to exit" line to show up than press enter
11) enjoy ACE
PS. If this doesnt work you can stil unpack the 7zip files and then unpack all those ACExxxx.pbo.gz using winrar or total commander. Be sure to place them i the right mod/addon folder

Follow these steps guys and it WILL work. One thing I would add is to use alpinestars arma2 launcher. I was getting a pixel error, but when I launched from Arma 2 launcher all worked fine...now to quit my job and play ACE2....thanks ACE team you rock!
So once we have it running what do we choose in the updater to synch with future updates, eg 1 ,2 ,3?

Is there a way of determining which aspects of this mod could be causing slowdowns and FPS drops, so that users can choose only those parts of the mod that add to gameplay, but don't affect FPS as much. I really like this mod but cannot afford the fps hit due to my equipment. thanks very much for your great work

do you think Zeus AI and SLX compliment each other? If so, in what way? Also, should we remove the SLX_AISkill.pbo from SLX in order to let Zeus take it, or can we set the order for the mods? I get confused weather a mod should come first in the string to overwrite another, or after?
