Thank you William for the follow up. I Will continue to test scenarios and report any issues I find. Planned assault has really opened up a whole new level of the game for me, thanks!

The script is generating the landing zone way to close to the target area and because of this the AI pilots won't land and instead will try to attack the enemies on the groundHi William, I have also experienced this problem with little birds, the pilots flew right into the action, they started taking fire and the drop was aborted and they flew back.
Also, a more plaguing problem for me has been that the mission end is triggered in the middle of fighting, the end screen will come up and that's the end. Do you know if others have had this issue and what might be causing it. It happens to me consistently so maybe im doing something wrong

one issue im having now, my teams form up and get into position, but the attack phase never initiates. Should I be waiting along time for the attack to commence? Or is something wrong?

hi guys, I know this has been addressed earlier somewhere, but the post is so many pages I cant find the answer :icon_wink:. What would the general consensus be concerning GL4 and ACE? Is is better to play GL4 stand alone or does it benefit from the use of ACE with it?

f I change weapons with a team mate or sometimes when they run out of ammo they start yelling "Reloading!" endlessly.wolfrug, I started getting this same bug yesterday, using the same addon config (ace, csm2 Zeus)

this is a great mission thanks for making it, lots of replay, always something different. One idea-could you make it so we can choose the map as well, that would give us a chance to play out these recons in different terrains, etc

the firefight in this mission is really good. Reminds me a lot of "trial by fire", lots of walls to duck under, lots of cross fire coming at you. The friendly AI work well too doing a good job of laying down fire. With the speakers turned up its a nice little fight for sure.
The enemy AI seems to work nicely a few surprises some nice flanking. I was having alot of fun with it, but it kind of ended suddenly. I think the mission ends too fast- as soon as you eliminate enough enemy its over. It would be nice if it ended when you reach town or something. Also I play with Zeus in addition to ACE2 so my firefights start further out with much of the fighting from the hill, not in town as much. So my game ended in the street 100 meters from the town, so it could have been due to Zeus.
one weird bug like thing was at some point the ai sqad mates ran the other way leaving the leader and myself alone on the hill, they eventually returned.

unfortunately, i think you tube compresses audio too much, a lot of the deeper, bass sounds are missing from the you tube clip. Listening to the ogg files was much better. these sounds are good.
@stephensen, i will try to set up a trigger in a mission i have and see if it works

nice sounds! i unpacked them and listened. is there any way to just add these in as a sound addon, or do we have to create a mission to use them?

Let me know if you didn't get this one . .im having the same trouble. First thing that went wrong is
pilot died on me so that task never completed, but the task remained open even though i tagged him and the VO came on telling me to proceed
next task was to
raid the market. i did this and enemies in trucks keep coming, maybe 5 technicals in all. i drove all over the hill, thought i got every enemy but still, no task to take out stinger team or any chopper. do you think its because the pilot died?
im going to restart mission and try again

Did you get the...negative. i suppose that gets triggered when i take out the remaining bad guys? I think I didn't get all the bad dudes.:rolleyes: im going back in....

Did you complete every objective? Even if you didn't take out the stinger teams I'm pretty sure you still have too . . . but I'll check.Otherwise are there any non completed objectives?
i thought i had done all objectives-
do we have to blow the weapons cache in the market with a satchel? Or hunt down all enemy in the area?
I didn't do either of those.
but seriously i love this mission

top notch mission, liked it very much. I ended up with 3 guys left to raid the market. Plenty of ammo and bandages. Medic system works great. (remember folks to use your right windows key-you have to examine first and then apply the required medical supplies).
One question? I cant seem to trigger the end of mission. I ened up in the area of the market, my last task, but nothing happens, so I think im at the end of the mission but not sure? is it suppose to end with a cut scene?
