I use the waypoint 'transport unload' and 'helicopter land "helipad"' On Act.
If enemies are near the helipad then the transport heli will often engage the enemies, even if I've set it to 'never fire'. Other times it will do the landing but begin attacking the enemies once it takes off again. Missons I make using heli insertion and extractions keep breaking because the helicopters won't do what I tell them to do in the editor.
How can I make sure the helicopter follow the script?:confused:

I'm moving away from putting commercial music in my videos. I want to use atmospheric music similar to that used in big hollywood films. Apart from creating this music myself, does anyone know where I can get my hands on some?
I'm currently looking for Middle-Eastern themed music to go with a short movie on the Quesh-Kubrul map.
P.S. did I mention it had to be free? If you can't tell me your 'sources' here (for legal reasons) then private message me. This might be illegal on these forums, I appologise in advance to the moderators if this is true.

Thank you MrBinkels. You were right, Windows decided to enable speakers without me telling it to. Once I disabled it again, my audio was perfect again. A puzzling problem with a simple solution. :o

Sadly, the G35 software has a very simple interface. You can't adjust any settings other than adding voice morphing to the microphone and the volumes.

What's confusing is that I've had this headset for months without a problem. Then is issue pops up and I've no idea why.

Recently my in-game sound started to become distorted and crackly. I also hear sounds comming through too loud or not at all. Other times, I'll hear things happening even when I'm on the other side of the map (ie. I'll hear a firefight in Chernogorsk when I'm up in Krasnostav).
It becomes unbearable when helicopters and jets are involved, I'll often get insanely loud afterburner roar comming through my headset at random times - forcing me to remove the headset from my head to avoid being deafened.
I've reinstalled the sound drivers for the headset and they are up to date. I've also reinstalled Arma 2, yet the problem remains.
Using my standard stereo speakers for the audio output solves the problem, but I don't get surround sound then.
Other than getting a new headset, is there a way to fix this? I'm very confused because I've changed nothing, what could causethis bug?:confused:
P.S. I'm using vanilla Arma2 v1.05. No mods.

I can't play multiplayer servers which use battleEye. Even though I have it installed. As I connect to the server I get sent back to the ARMA2 main menu. Is this a known bug or just a problem on my end?

Has anyone got the 'Right Windows Key' to work (the key is used for interaction with static weapons and other players)? I don't have a right-windows key on my keyboard so I bound it to other keys, but none of those work.
Would binding the key break the function? Or does the ACE2 Beta not support it yet?

About the repairing issues, I've looked into it before and I can't find anything wrong. Then again I guess I could look harder. Will keep it in mind!1) We are working on a "Unit Cam" Solution, which originated in CTI for OFP1
2) Small arms upgrading option is going to be implemented in the near future. You have tiers of gear. Start with ak-47s and weaker guns and RPG-7 with basic round. As you upgrade you will get stronger guns.
This will be it's own upgrade or combined with the barracks upgrade

Ah so guns will be locked until small arms/barracks is upgraded? interesting idea.
My problem with repairing is that a vehicle can't be repaired unless you (the player) are in it. A vehicle with only an AI crew in it can't be repaired by a repair truck. They try to carry out the order but the vehicles health will not fill up.
and ignore 3, it doesn't matter.

Hi everyone. Love AWP warefare. Me and my clan mates (RIP, rustyinplaces.org) have been playing it for weeks now and can't get enough.
But tonight I encountered a couple of problems.
1# Why don't vehicles repair at repair trucks if I'm not in the damaged vehicle? E.g. I must kick a man out of a tank and then get in it before the tank is repaired.
2# I ordered a tank to repair at a truck. Then after I'd fixed the tank, the repair truck was stuck in a 'supporting' role. The driver of the truck had "supporting" written on his screen icon and he would shout 'supporting' after every order I gave him.
The driver then ignored all my orders, he would begin to act out my move order, then shout 'supporting' and then drive back to the tank and then follow that tank aroud as it moved.
Very annoying as the truck ended up driving into the battle along side the tanks and got blown up :(.
I'm not sure if it's an ARMA 2 issue or part of AWP, but I wanted your input on these things I mentioned.
Looking forward to the 1.40 release.
P.S. will you be including the feature of BE, where you can look through the eyes of your team members and squad members by going to "supporting and then assets menu"?
P.P.S What is the 'small arms' upgrading option?
P.P.P.S Will you be including a working version of the 'paradrop' feature?

ah, ok thanks. Will the heli be 'friendly' to all bluefors, independents and opfor on the map?
