I have the dvd version of arma 2 up to 1.07 and OA Steam version, how do I combine them?

What happened to the weapon´s sounds, is there a way to go back to an older version in the meantime?

In my case the server version is 185, and the one I have too, but for some reason it detects it as 182. I had some trouble the first time I installed ace, and now I got it right but there seems to be some leftover from that old install. How can I make a clean install? what do I need to delete?

How do I make a clean install? I uninstalled the updater and deleted @Ace folders in Arma, but my launcher still detects some @Ace.rsync.pack mod in the directory.

Can anyone help me? I updated Ace correctly and the version.txt file says I´ve got 185, however when I join a server it still detects it as version 182.
