  1. Before calling me an armchair wannabe soldier i would like to know your military experience,since i'm in the army since 2010 with a good average of  6 months each year spent in war zone from A'stan,Iraq and Somalia.

    No one is shitting on how you want to play your CTI i simply stated that most of the milsimmer userbase that play with RHS  prefer realism over balance and i can bet some money that this approach was always endorsed also by RHS teams.So no problem to ask if something doesn't look realistic on your perspective but please refrain for asking about changing the scope of the mod to be more balanced and less real.

    End of the off topic from me i don't want to upset the gods of moderation....

PVP player since(and before) RHS comes out.Arma is a realistic military sandbox.It's up to mission maker to balance his missions to make them a pleasure to play.We did a lot of asymettrical scenarios(USA vs talib,RU vs rebels) or symmetrical and a lot of times the underdog became winner.It's up to you to shape a good mission and hit your enemy on his weakside and not viceversa.

    We had battles in WWII where a single sherman destroyed more than 3 tigers.Just do not confront a Tiger with a a sherman head on.Same with talib vs AH64, you can always outplay your enemy in a proper tought mission.You can't ask a milsimmer to deny reality for balancing.there are tons of other games out there that are that way.Just don't ask to change RHS into a non realistic crap

  3. Sorry...my english is far from perfect,but i think the meaning was pretty undestandable...

    From what i see there is not a page to submit bug and request about IFA3 so i ask here on the forum.

    Today i was testing tanks and i stumbled in this "bug" of tank optics.IIRC they were realistically portrayed in I44 (A2 version)

    Also bombs: when you drop them a copy remains on plane's wings

    The plane's propeller effect is also very ugly

     

    I'm new to this IFA3 and i really like this mod,just some reports to improve the overall quality...not to complain or similar

    thx didn't know those details...so mi24 is very bad at aiming at target with cannon in comparison to the AH 1 cobra...can't see nothing with it...instead the Saclos Optics is cristal clear...i hope i can use that one to aim also with cannon

    EDIT: I had an issue which i assumed was related to Arma3 itself,flying around altis in a  jet caused massive stuttering,micro stuttering every second or so.I turned every single setting to low,returned to BIS standard Malloc,and done anything else which you could think of,and tested many more times,the stuttering remained.

     

    Same problem in Mi24.A lot of stuttering almost unplayable.

    Also as in gunner seat can't select cannon rounds if in optic mode but only AG missiles

    Exactly,GREF is full of content to fill mission with something different from proper USA vs RU classic scenarios.

     

    On this regard i'm editing a TvT mission  that may contain rotary wing support.

    My scope is avoiding to render air assets too op, by using units without radar and with non fire and forget air to ground missiles.So Hind is the best platform for opfor team but i'm struggling finding something to give to blufor...a AH1 Cobra with tow missiles would be the best cause the one with hellfires is too OP in my scenario...So a Gref Cobra or something similar(Gazelle?Bo105?)with TOW missile would be really needed

  7. BIS removed it from RC and 1.62. It's working on Dev Branch diagnostic exe (arma3diag.exe) for now only

    Thx so much.A bit strange that with an expansion that need so much the amphibious part they remove it totally...i will wait till it comes back in stable branch to start editing again on that beatiful map.

     

    Any plans by RHS for heavy load transportation?(i'm thinking about moving tanks and heavy IFV) right now chinook and mi 8 can't lift those heavy beasts

    But i think that play with units only in Altis won't be that interesting

    We have plenty of map,what we lack is proper WWII content.Also Altis could be a perfect theatre for Crete or Sicily invasion,a good mission maker will wisely choose the proper locations avoiding futuristic ones.

    I can make a good WWII themed mission in almost all terrains and you too Giallustio(i still remember with love the one you made on Clafghan) but sadly i can't make a panzergrenadier or a sherman tank and i suppose this is a limitation pretty common on A3 community.

    So imho no need to postpone a release waiting for a proper setted map.Just give us our WWII toys to play with and hundreds arma players will be happy for the next 2 years

    I don't want to pay for a mod.I prefer to donate to modders

    I don't want low res models

    I44 had all for free and in good res for that time

    IFL had a bad impact on ARMA cause they were the first to make you pay for a mod and splitted the community

    IF conversion was a total messs in the past

    FOW guys at the beginning said their mod  would be standalone.

    IFL has many issues in compatibility with other mod

    IFL is no on pair with models and texture expected from a 2016 game(RHS new models are)

    porting<new dedicated content

    Just take your time and provide us with top quality assets(as you are already doing) and don't recycle old (imho) crap
