  4. to unpack mortars use the interaction menu,first you need to place the plate,then the tube,then the ammo.interaction menu it's the way to do theese steps
  5. mmm it's very dark...too dark imo btw NVG amplify natural light,maybe in your mission setup you have set a night without moon and stars and also cloudy?

Thx for the answer but i need some technical info about the weight of the internal revive system.(script to load and run for server and clients) Just to know if it's feasable to play 40vs40,maybe the internal revive system is very heavy server side and not suggested for large numbers but only for coop. I don't think our troubles are due to missinon specific problem,since the mission is very light:no script apart the revive and a counter for objectives(alive/death),80 playable units and some vehicles,2 markers:respawn_west,respawn_east;that's all

Hi guys,my PVP campaing has some issues.There are many crashes always involving near people. i.e:if you are next to me and i get shoot dead,both you and me often we are going to crash. i think this is due to our revive system(R3F with very little modification,expecially on the sleep code).maybe r3f revive eventhandlers has some conflict with CBA ones? I want to ask you if you think that Ace internal revive system would better suite our needs(i mean light weight for server).Is it playable with 80 players? I really need to know if internal revive is meant for coop or also for large PVP events. I'd like to be in touch with people playing and managing big TvT events based on Ace Our TVT session is hosted on a Hetzner EQ4(quad 2.9GHZ,8gb ram ddr3,100Mbit) and we intend to play 40vs40 games. I can provide a server RPT and some clients RPT of people who had crashes,because we need some assistance by people who usually play missions based on ACE with a lot of players.Sadly we are the only community in Italy with this kind of project in mind and not so many people to ask for help.   11. Hi guys,playing a TVT 40vs40 Dynamic Campaign using Ace 1.8 stable+Isla Duala 1.81+R3F revive we experimented a lot of crashes. People crashing usually were part of the same team,so all the team crashed toghether and this is very strange imho. Does anybody know if there are incompatibilities between ACE and R3F revive,or between ACE and Duala?

    Nice news Icebreakr! I have a question for you,it's possible that some areas of your island can cause some random crashes? I'm asking because yesterday we played the first mission of my 40 vs 40 TVT dynamic campaign,using only Duala 1.81+ACE 1.8 stable+R3F revive. We experimented multiple crashes involving group of people crashing when they were near each other. I'm not sure if it's ACE fault(i'm going to ask also on their 3d) or it could be some bug related to map zones
  13. i'd also like a guide that teach how to proper use russian's planes. KH29 and laser guided bomb work with the SOFLAM designator? how to point with internal laser enemy moving vehicles? iirc Su 25 is the soviet plane with similar task to A10 but with the american's plane i find quite easy to lock on targets(maverick,or illuminated target with GBU) also if they are moving,with the SU25 i find quite impossible to hit moving vehicles and pretty hard to lock also small building. Cause i'm the master of a PVP dynamic campaign this can lead to some imbalances issues and i prefer to avoid such things explaining why russians planes are not inferior to US ones. So i'm asking to you,are russian's planes comparable to their opponents?(dogfights imho yes,they are very good with their 2 pairs of close and medium range missile,but as bombers they are inferior) Those conclusions are only based on my ingame test with russian planes,and i'm not too sure to have understood how to proper use laserguided bombs,so i'm asking for a guide

  17. so no more 75 rounds mag? it's a bit nonsense using RPK with 45 rnd mag vs a M249 with 100/200 rnd in his mag... so no need to open ticket because of no bug but i think the classlist library should be updated at least.

Hi guys i think i've found a bug.Since i'm not playing with the last version(i'm using 1.8 stable) i'm not sure if it's fixed in newest one.Otherwise a new ticket is needed. the bug is this 75Rnd_545x39_RPK ACE_75Rnd_545x39_S_RPK ACE_75Rnd_545x39_T_RPK those magazines are supposed to contain 75 round but if you fire single shot and count bullets you'll realize you can fire only 45 bullets.this fubarized my pvp mission because of lack of fire volume,only 45 bullets vs 200 and 100 from the 249 and M240. Other bug:in the classlist appear also this drum magazine 75Rnd. RPK that i assume must be at least compatible with rpk instead it's only compatible with AK series. i hope i had not said BS...
  19. You must not activate more than 1 CBA.As written in the docu,you have to run only the CBA compatible with your game installation. So CBAOA if you have only a copy of OA standalone CBAA2 if you have only arma2 installed CBA if you have combined operation(A2+OA) Plus,don't activate addons using the internal game launcher,use dedicated launchers or the old string method instead

I hope to never see a censored WWII,in that time was common to see swastikas,and hear people saying Heil Hitler(in germany).Denying this is denying history and modern germany laws are simply nonsence in this subjcet.A so called democratic country can't deny freedom of speech and expression.And if they try to arrest you,you simply can ask for Court of Justice of the European Union because a member state is violating your Fundamental rights. Back to more important things,the new 2.5 release seems outstanding,can't wait to play it,new features are really super!
  23. you downloaded the last stable of ACE for arma2(1.3) OA last stable is 1.8 here is my problem instead: some people got this error playing a mission made by me. Addon ace_sys_magazines (entry ACE_30Rnd_556x45_S_Stanag) not found in the list of active addons. i made the mission using files of last stable(CBA,ACE,ACEX,ACEXSM,ACEXRU,ACEXNAVY) me and others players had the same addons loaded and running. Why this error?And how to solve it?
