  1. We are running a dedicated linux server and are not able to successfully run any mods on it. When we try to run mods we get a huge amount of errors in the log. The server comes up but when trying to run any mission it just dumps back to the mission selection screen. Here is a sample of the errors. Any suggestions would be appreciated. All files are lower case in the server!

  3. Hi Mandoble, We're running Domination with your MMA scripts and the Javelins are not locking on target when fired. You get solid tone and then when launched they fire up into the air and explode some distance off. Even changing to direct fire they go up into the air. Any ideas?
  4. For some reason mma and mma_xeh are not showing in Expansions in OA. Yes I have them in the correct folder structure and I am loading them on start. Any ideas why this wouldn't be working?
  5. Hillybilly learn to speak English if you plan on using it. As you have been told you do not have to play it and just because you are so small minded does not mean the rest of the world does not appreciate the hard work Xeno puts into this. Go elsewhere with your insults and grow up!
  6. Our host is useless and have screwed our installation, not to mention taken so long just to get it up. They refused to do it over our existing install and have made it standalone. When trying to view the server in the in game server browser it does not show up. If I try to connect to it directly I it shows as red, with the word 'expansion' in red in the expansions box. I suspect it is because they did it as a standalone install so 99.95% of the ARMA2 community in Australia will not be able to connect to it. Can anyone assist and confirm if this is correct?
  7. Our server is up and running for most. Some people with different installs are not able to connect. Is anyone else having this problem with their dedicated servers?
  8. COOP 8-player Map Desert My very first complete mission. I have modified missions a lot but never started from scratch to finish. But with OA I really wanted to do this mission. The premise is a Special Forces patrol (imagine Bravo Two Zero) in Takistan searching for Mobile Scud Launchers. The intel is not fantastic and you need to find the targets without compromising yourself, lest the scuds do another shoot and scoot. The time from prep to launch can be as fast as 30 minutes so if you are compromised you need to hurry. This mission is for the most part about stealth and planning. It requires good use of tactics to achieve your objective. Your team is an 8 man SF team (I may revise this after some test runs and feedback). How you carry out the mission is up to your team leader. All you need do is hunt Scuds and when finished exit to the extraction point to complete the mission and signify a safe escape. I've not tested this on a dedicated server yet, waiting for our to come online tomorrow. The revive system is Norrins revive and the team leader is able to establish a mobile respawn point when he stops moving.   12. Hi all, I have a timer counting down on detection by the OPFOR where the missiles may launch within 30 minutes. I would like to have a mission fail trigger on the launch of the missiles. I've trolled the site but can't find the answer. Anyone able to assist?

And WOlle mate I understand your frustration, I never ask a question without making an attempt to answer it myself. It annoys me to no end when people make no effort and just expect to be spoon fed everything. *******EDIT I'm an idiot and can't make this work. This is my first full mission and first actual use of end mission criteria so the learning curve it steep at the moment. Please tell me I am doing it completely wrong then feel free to chastise me and correct it :-) I have a trigger set up for end1 with the condition of 'scudState scud1 == 4;' (not sure of the other settings I require for the trigger though). I have sychronised it to the waypoint which launches the scudstart and nothing.... no launch at all.
  14. i did search thank you very much and that topic has nothing to do with my question! WOlle you will see another topic where I had asked about scuds yesterday and then found the post. I spent over 8 hours on research and such yesterday so don't assume I hadn't searched first, sometimes it is not easy to find relevant information off a search criteria. But what I need to know is how to set up the mission fail criteria! Not how to control the scud, as I have that part under control. Thanks.

  17. Okay I need to make a correction. Our server host, specifically one individual is doing his utmost to sort this out for a very frustrated group of players. In light of what has been learnt the issue is with BI. We either support players with both Arma 2 and A2OA, or we support Arma2 p,ayers only, or we support A2OA stand alone owners only, argh.
