Can any of you guys save a game? I found the only way I can with any @ace addons is by deleting my ARMA 2 profile before I start the game. Maybe somebody knows what this is related to?
I just re-installed the entire ACE 2 beta to see if it was something I did and I know now its not, I have vista; anyone elese with vista having the same issue? Anyone know if this is a ACE issue for sure?

Lol my arma setup is kinda confused, because its a cross between bis wounding and slx. Throw in the ACE one too and It will Be like Greys anatomy on the battlefield.Now with me The bis one is pretty lame, your men kind of kneel over you waving their arms around like spiritual healers and rub your chest like you need some vicks.
The slx one is pretty much the same but at least you bleed and leave a trail.
From what I have seen of the ACE one it really makes the difference, you actually take more time and attention to detail on what you need to pack as far as medical kit and weaponary goes. I actually made the effort to look up what the medical stuff is used for and kitted up accordingly.
And to be honest it doesnt really matter if you cant load up on briefing because you can take your time in the chopper to load up (even if you arrive you wont be thrown out the chopper when in the gear menu) And when on the ground you can sort out your stuff in ammo crates or however you start the mission.
Executing the attack varies depending on the situation If its a case of storming a base I like to take my time and spread my men out while having them hold fire. Try to get them to surround the base so they have a 360 view of the enemies then open up hell. I have noticed that with ACE your men actually throw grenades, i never actually saw them use grenades before apart from enemy AI.

This mod is so good that I don't feel the pain of wasting 60$ on operation flashpoint dragon risisng anymore, wish that could have gone to the ACE team for their incredible work:D

Can somebody help me? Does anybody have any earthly idea why if I delete my profile I can save games with ACE mods loaded? I can save seal team six 3 But only with my ARMA 2 profile removed each time I start, makes little sense?

Are you guys able to save missions and load them without a lockup ctd? I have this issue while using ace2 with anything unless I delet my profile before launching the game??

Sick, looks like something is wrong with option 3 file, says download file is broken( bad block) will not extract CRC error.

Thanks man I didn't know that. I never used the rucks. One thing that is cool is if you ever need some serious fire power you can take a crew served weapon with you.Hope you can figure this out, wish I knew more about it I would help you, The rucks do work though, only after they should. After you start a mission, as I said above, you can pack anything you have with you, it shows the wait in CC's in the left corner. So I guess its a matter of matching what the ruck file contains after the mission launches as opposed to what it says prior( I guess). Its all systems go after mission starts, works great. Your missions are all I play or I would not care so much lol.:D

Yeah. I cant figure out how to use them, I just added them to the inventory.Man you have gone all out on these missions wow holy shit, great job man!!!!!! I will not be playing anything but this for days.
One thing is the ruck packs work after you start the missions, you can go in and pack anything you want of the inventory you have with you, just wont work until after you have left the pre mission weapon selection screen. I guess you know this, just thought I say it anyway for good measure.

I can't get the ruck packs to work, they don't show up until you are in the chopper, in which case you have no need to pack anything, great missions however:D

trying to update to latest version, but my updater says '(@ace)Mod is tagged skip in the configuration file, skipping...' and does not update it.How do i tell it to update everything?
I went in and updated the preset file and it loaded it, I have the new version but not quite sure if things went how they were supposed to exactly, but it works.

@Steve , are you by any chance using Win XP 32 Pro as well? If you are, you might wanna do a registry fix or cleanup. That improved the situation for me.I have windows vista, Do you know of any free registry fix or cleanup programs?

Is it possible to have all the guns from seal team 2 plus all the guns from the ACE mod as well on seal team 3, or does this cause a conflict? I really hope we get the ruck packs on seal team 3!!!:)

@ jasonnoguchi yeah that sucks, but I'm still gonna release it. My campaign does not rely on ACE addons, I just made sure there were no problems with ACE. This way if the ACE team drastically changes the AI, it won't effect my campaign. I'm gonna release three versions.1. With ACE no extra addons except Mercs and Panthera.
2. Without ACE plus all the original addons such as the RH M4 packs.
3. With ACE plus all the original addons such as the RH M4 packs.
Man I'm gonna try really hard to release it tomorrow. It's so close to completion and it's gonna blow your mind. :bounce3:

DARN! All the save CTD is making completing missions impossible! Anyone has the same problem with EVERY missions/campaigns so far?I have had this problem as well, I have found that deleting my profile before loading the game makes load saves possible for some missions that don't work with the game loaded with a saved profile

This is strange:
As long as I delete my profile before I turn the game on I don't have any in game save crashes in vanilla BI scenarios? But exiting and having a saved profile causes it to crash everytime. Any body know anything about what could be happening? I am not using any mods besides the ACE, ACEX, CBA, ACEX_SM and my profile is all default. I can save all I want to as long as I don't backout of the game and start it up again, if I do that it will refuse to load saved games.

Any word on the save game problem?

Well, ACE is up and running, but I have no voices. All orders are silent and subtitled.Also, the action menu crosshair icons are gone, which makes quick entering vehicles and static weapons an irritating experience.
Problems aside, I have some questions. Will HMG rounds fired at a light APC kill members inside because of penetration? Or is it random and it doesn't matter what part of the hull I shoot at?
And the screen blur effect from tanks firing doesn't occur when I'm in front of the tank, only directly to the sides.
I understand that the wounding system is very complex, but is it always working? I synced an Ace first aid module to all members of a squad in the editor and met with little success. I've experienced a red screen flash from a frag grenade, but I wasn't sure if represented bleeding, pain or what. When playing as a medic I get a Heal Rifleman option but nothing happens afterwards. What is the key to assess their wounds?

I ran a registry fix program, actually 2 of them, can't figure it out? It is strange how if I don't have any saves on my profile I can save a game fine, but if I don't remove my ARMA 2 profile before I turn the game on, It will not let me save any games, this is just with ACE mind you. As long as I don't run @ACE mod I am fine, my CBA works fine with many mods other than ACE?? What did you do to your registry by the way? So it appears it is something in my registry that conflicts with ACE somehow that is related to prior saved games and my profile I guess?
