I played almost the whole game fine, but now when I load the game there is no sound. It is working for my PC in general, just not ARMA 2 for some reason. This happened once before but I quit the game and restarted it and then it worked. Now I have restarted my PC several times and the game many times and there is never any sound. Any ideas why?
Card is an E-MU 0404, and no, I don't think I have changed any drivers or anything since it last worked.

Oh and I forgot to say, the little check boxes at the start when it starts to load, te last two don't check. They all used to when it was working. What do the last two check boxes mean?

I have to agree 77Scout, the AI and tanks and APC seem frighteningly good. I actually think they are a bit too good. Sometimes I am lying in a bush miles away up a hill and if I accidently fart I seem to get instantly peppered. However sometimes when I am in a tank and I start taking fire it sometimes takes an age of twirling around looking at trees to figure out where the fire is coming from. I would have thought that the latter reaction is much more realistic if you are in an enclosed lump of metal and should be reflected in this game.

Ah, I see, F2 for 12 haha, how intuitive ;). Thanks for the response! I guess this means I can have squads bigger than 12 then too? For the no occupants thing I was actually thinking of in the main missions like Badlands and Dogs of War. Sometimes I just want a vehicle without AI coming with it. On the old OFP multiplayer missions we used to be able to select with or without people on some of the mod missions. Cheers Bluedog.

Just for info, I redid badlands to get the NAPA and CDF working together and now Dogs of War is a completely different mission! Without any alliance, you start in the middle, with missions to get both bases and people coming at you from both sides. This might explain some other confusion about what stage people are at with the mission.

Hi guys,
Am I being thick or is there a way to buy a vehicle from the factory without occupants in? I need multiple APCs sometimes but it fills up the number of men under my command. I also can't seem to select 11 or 12 as they are off my screen and F11 and F12 doesn't select them. Any ideas?

Nope, not found any bases yet. I hoped the Lopotev series of missions would end?

I didn't realise you could do coop campaign! Shame it sounds so buggy. I will try it with a mate.

Hi guys,
I don't have NAPA and the CDF allied, so taking towns is proving to be a losing battle as they are swamping all over me and my base. My problem is now though:
I transported the prisoner and got Lopotev and just managed to deliver him to the Russians, but then I got attacked by Spetznaz. After fending them off (and stealing their NVG cos it is pitch black now!), I have kind of run out of missions. I think Little John said come back to base, so I went back to base, but there are no more objectives apart from the usual take towns and find bases. What am I supposed to do now? Taking towns is too hard without allied NAPA and CDF, finding bases is impossible without air support, and I am sure it was supposed to trigger a new mission now that the Russians had Lopotev and we found out that the blonde guy sent the Spetnaz in?
