That's one of those legal minefield issues. As far as I know, legally they can remove access to the service whenever they want, but at the same time you have the rights as a consumer to return the product for it not working as intended.But if the game isnt damaged then no store will refund. Would be a hard lawsuit to pull off but if enough people were filing with a good lawyer who knows.

I like the concept of it and I hope it actually works. Everything takes time and I wouldnt expect a potential dev to just jump into it and make a flatout end all be all game. If physics and lighting dont kill it then it has the potential to change gaming in a big way.

guess if you were wiping it one you would have to wash your hands pretty quick before it had a chance to form a layer on your fingertips.....interesting stuff, would love to cut and buff the car and put a coating of this on.....NO MORE WATER SPOTS

Played some hardcore and i cant say im much of a fan of it, for the type of game that it is hardcore just doesnt seem to work like it should...
Also noticed a trend of massive medic squads on infantry maps, I have an m16/gl and 1911 and drop a medic and then the medic that comes to revive him, a 3rd medic comes and i drop him but not before he revives one, so now I am down to my 1911 and I kill the medic that got revived after he revives another. My ammo pack finally gave me another grenade so i toss it over there and end up killing 4 medics.
They need to do something to nerf the defrib, maybe a charge period and cool down period because its far too easy to spam that class

I thought i was the only one that did that, works pretty well for lazed apaches because the pilots usually change their altitude to avoid the missles coming horizontal...they never see it coming like that

Pistol rounds are often more lethal than rifle rounds, games just nerf them like they are shooting bb's. Since i have discovered that they have no drop my pistol is my new uav dropper.

I would say that since both are sandbox-esque developers, they would complement eachother nicely. Both rockstar and bis are talented and what one lacks the other does not. I wouldnt want to see a rockstar/bis arma game, but maybe something else. A shooter that is less sim oriented than arma but still have a semi realistic feel to it with a high amount of polish.

Most things can be sold, but the body armor and SAPI plates cannot. I'm sure the ANA, Iraqi Army, or someone will receive donations in the near future. Or, they could simply go into the same warehouse holding the Ark of the Covenant.The sapi plates just slide in, they would just be changing the carrier. There probably will be a shitload of handouts to other countries now though.

Trying the visible spectrum Meta-Materials cloak thingy are they? Far flung future there.. What, 2110? 2210? Oh, how far can GR fall before it smacks something solid?Actually its not that far ahead, they know how to make them with mirrors but they cant yet make mirrors small enough for light. They have however made the cloaks that completely disrupt microwaves rendering it invisible to radar.
I'm not defending them putting that junk in that game though. I want to see soldiers with current gen weaponry in a semi realistic environment, not predator super soldiers sporting gear that once available would cost too much to be equipped.

Being that arma2 pushes current systems to their limits as gaming pc's progress as they always do there could be an increase in players due to newer pc's being higher spec'd and cheaper. Some people may not play it due to the fact that they dont have enough machine to push it and either dont want to upgrade yet or cant afford it. There are alot of gamers that like having a game either maxed out or near maxed out to play it, I was one of those people.

The scenery is really good in the game, the gameplay is 100% god of war but its fun. I wouldnt buy the game but its worth a rental. Took me two days to beat it.

ehh...still more effort then i would put into the game, and it does do a fine job of making itself look bad. Downside is that people paid for the game to see it for themselves and some even defend it.

I would imagine the word DLC pops up on the menu so much it won't be long before new multiplayer maps, sp missions and skins crop up for $5 a peice...it almost seems like they developed this and then cut it into peices to sell later. I'm having fun with the pred campaign but it just seems very much on the AVP "lite" side of things.I miss the days when devs used to take your $30-$50 and say ok well you bought a product from us now i'm going to give you 2-3 years of service, patches and free stuff for it (BIS and Valve are great examples). AVP is broken...there is no DX10 mode?!?!? wtf and everyone i have talked to about it on steam is crashing out once every 15-20 mins. I haven't had that many crashes in sp but then again im playing in dx9 mode so i dunno.
EA and the sims really screwed over the PC gaming market for everyone but coming up with a lot of this mini expansion stuff for small amounts of money. All it means in a lot of cases, under it's new guise of DLC, is that we pay money for stuff the devs would have given us for free 5 years ago anyway.
yep, gaming industry is going downhill....years ago it didnt really matter what game you got because it was pretty good and it was supported....now everyone just wants to rape the cash cow

Basically if you can own a firearm you can own a machine gun, although sometimes your police chief may not want to sign off and you may possibly have to get a lawyer involved. (I know someone that went this route when he purchased a m14)
