the game has its fun parts but i am hating the mp...i swear the game has more campers than counter strike except in counter strike it was strategy....in this it is people hiding in little nooks....i have never seen map layouts that catered to this style of gameplay in any other game with that said i think calling them campers is a compliment because campers typically watch an area of importance and deny passage...the people on this are just hiding...only they they are denying passage to is the corner they are backed into and the only strategy is someone going by that didnt check all 50 nooks for pussies

i share the same opinion on clive...oh well it is what it is though

those are some good sounds....no telling how much money and time they invested into capturing and tweaking them though...i agree that weapons have too quiet of a feel in a2, they should be much louder, you can talk amongst gunfire which shouldnt be possible would be nice if doppler effect could be modeled, see the flash then hear the impact, this alone would make the a10's so badass hearing the freedom fart about 2 seconds later

that game is going to be fun...will be getting it without a doubt

codemasters is the new ubisoft from the looks of it....well ubisoft isnt even that bad...they didnt really lie about the game not sucking, everyone knew they would suck before they bought them

do it up just like elite but with new graphics...doesnt even have to be arma2, could be named whatever...just a bis milsim on console would be an instant hit

the game is completely dead....look at the steam stats on it peak players now is around 150 from around 20000 at release

on the sales side i believe it would do well if it could be pulled off..i think consoles would be better off hoping for operation arrowhead, desert eliminates grass which is a massive problem for consoles... almost everyone thats in the military that owns a 360 would probably buy it and im sure it would definately outsell DR by a long shot...i could see it turning a nice profit and by the size of bis a good chunk of change should let them push some new products above and beyond...i dont see that company turning profit hungry and deviating so more money to them in my eyes could go much further than with other companies

they are packaging the game with el cheapo nvg's....its not just a console thing...its a 12 yr old spoiled brat thing... cod is like joe camel seriously...they market it directly at the screaming in the mic over xbl brat ass suburban kids that havent had physical exercise in years but will threaten to beat you up if you have a console by any chance just rent the game and see what the sp is about...i seriously wouldnt look into the mp at all quake 3 with a m16 but now the m16 has heartbeat sensors and at4's can shoot at ac130's that are controlled by some guy hiding looking into a laptop

charging for dlc for 360 to free roam the island, wage battle across 220 square km is written on the back of the box....im waiting for someone to sue them

that game seems nice looking but i dont think i could get into it at all...not much on sci fi action

at range it would be bad against body armor up close and personal the force could still drop someone without penetration...at the same time i would rather hit them with a rifle and not wonder if they are going to drop

console shooters would be alot different if bis released flashpoint elite later and on the 360 instead of the original a long time ago...only a few weeks seperated the release of ofp elite and the xbox 360

when i picked it up there was only 3 copies and all 3 were preorders...i cant see gamestop stocking the game new at all being that so many used copies are out there for purchase collecting dust

firefox....only had it crash once, other than that it performs flawlessly and loads up fast

gotta take formation into account as well, echelon left/right when moving next to a known enemy location for example...if you come under fire you team will have a clear firing lane staggered column for narrow areas or when you need to move fast, is also good for defending your flanks wedge is good for traveling against unknown enemy locations, vee would be a reverse of wedge but with more firepower to the front line for all your firepower to the front (probably the best formation for an ambush)

its probably like that to closer simulate the g force, i would have fun playing it

that gatling gun had me rolling i was making a gatling mossberg and my pc crashed out of nowhere...had too much time invested in it to try to reproduce it

im not sure about the legalities involved with simunition, airsoft can be fun though.... made a ghillie suit and hid it in the woods before playing, i went off to my area and suited up and laid in wait for the better part of 15 minutes when i caught three walking by within about 10' of me all to be shot in the back...i was hollering dont you cheat and put those guns down because they had the habit of shooting you to get even but a few (around 30) shots to their inner thigh and they surrendered...was fun would be more fun with simunition though, i can see someone getting seriously screwed up by it though, on the news, lawsuits, jailtime , felonies so all my guns would be taken if it was perfectly legal i would be all for it though
