Why dont you report this on their tracker if its been such a long running issue? Also have you confirmed its ACRE? ie removing just @ACRE and doing the same thing?

Jaynus, As I told Nou over skype we had done some testing with 1.3.11 and it seems greatly improved and we are not experiencing the issues anymore..... Biggest thing for us was the cutouts like everyone else and the GC program which eventually made the radios useless on our public server upon so many respawns/deaths. I hope the final gets pushed soon and hopefully our reports have helped, but keep up the good work its greatly appreciated.

This wont work on servers with signature checks unless the server obviously has the key. However if the server does not have mission scripting or has it with limitations they are highly unlikely to have the keys for addons like this or want to allow them.

This is why the 3rd Marine Division Gaming Organization is very set on providing services not only for our members but also the public. Membership has additional opportunities and benefits at varying levels, both in the game aspect and also positions (some paid) in the organization/staff aspect. We have a large number of public players and have no issue if they do not have the desire to join. Actually sometimes they get turned down from general membership since we are selective. There is no pressure on anyone to join our group which I commonly find with a decent number (NOT ALL) groups. We are not a milsim or realism unit even though many think we are due to the fact our organization uses a degree of a military structure and supplemental rank system. Our public regulars outnumber our actual members about 10 to 1 right now... you dont commonly see that with most well organized groups. We are different and are pushing to provided unique opportunities with a unique approach.

The who thing of training, rank structure, and overall level of realism I think is open to so much opinion and perspective. Just because one group uses a rank structure does not mean its anything like another group that may use a military ranks structure. That aside many people forget that the rank structure in most military forces is supplemental to the command structure which in any form of organization, military unit, civilian business, etc is what is more vital. To many groups utilize ranks, realism in different ways. Our organization structures like we do based upon the organization itself, not the games in which we are involved in and play. However sometimes things mesh between the two on certain levels. Some groups base their structure and ranks completely around the game but tend to be the ones that are only involved in a specific game. Also again people seem to have varying viewpoints on the basic concept of tactical shooters / tactical realism. Anyway the idea of this kind of website could be a good idea if done correctly.... but as an individual who owns a Business Develop Company that provides consultation services for the development of various community and business organizations I would recommend you have a system in place that avoids to much opinion in set designations... or establish a clear cut line which determines these designations and is set by your organization. This can in some cases cause conflict and disagreement and puts the owners/operators in a position they may not want to be. May be better to allow groups the ability to more accurately describe themselves and give people insight on their perspective and how they operate both with their members and the services they provided for the general public (if applicable).

I really do not understand why so many people on this forums act like 8 year old children and have nothing but the intent to be rude, degrading, and plainly immature. It's so funny where there are countless other groups online which are either simple companies and LLC's etc. What a big deal that we have a long term goal and would like to value the contributions made by our members and supportive community that can know those contributions will last for a good length of time. Again most of our general members take advantage of the gaming clan aspect of our organization. That all aside we have the abilities to do things such as support veteran charities, and later this year offer part time work to individuals doing major work for the group in areas such as IT and web development, etc. etc. . Just because a group is not a organization doesn't mean they are lame or stupid etc, neither does the fact that a group is mean it either. Sorry our group actually tries to have something that gives us a solid base and allows interaction with other business and organizations on a different level. Sorry we can do things like host a Tactical Gaming Convention (which we are doing September 2012), etc. etc. such a laughable thing. Grow up and understand that just because something involves gaming and the internet doesn't mean it has to be treated like something childish. It's almost at the level of treating a company that makes video games in that manner. Some of these responses are now clearly breaking the BI forum rules so time to contact a mod about these posts and probably this entire thread since as I pointed out it was a misleading attempt to have a recruiting post which should be in Squad Discussion board to begin with.

However I do currently serve and am also about to leave on a deployment. I am a captain in our gaming organization.... so again another immature attempt at a personal attack which probably made you feel better. Our organization is actually a legal organization which has a registered DBA under 3rd Marine Division Gaming Organization. Its not just someone who owns a website and rents gameservers themselves. The advantages are that we can operate as an actual legal entity. There are plenty on online gaming organizations which are legal entities as well. Ie Edge Gamers, LCC. Also our organization does do a bit more than just get people together online to play "games". It is just a different way of doing things. Just proves the point more along with the point that all this information is publicly available.

His other problem is he may be using other 3rd party addons which were not yet signed for V2. Good point on the BAF/PMC though Focher.

You are running V2 signature checking. Many addons have not yet made their keys V2 series. V2 series keys are backwards compatible with V1 checking, however V1 keys will NOT work with V2 series signature checking. So recommend using addons with V2 series keys or just set If you absolutely want V2 signature checking then I am probably not the best person to speak to on the subject matter. Been awhile since I signed any files. Also I recommend at least having.... if you have it ban it tends to ban those who really dont seem to have hacked the addons. :p I see you commented it out but I suggest having it on. Also not sure if you comment it out if it defaults to a standard setting which would probably be banning.

If you notice my original thread was clearly directed at the thread starter and was not intended to receive response making accusations that I was making false accusations, and I clearly made that one clear. I was not here to start some major debate or flame-war, so I am not going to continue posting here as the facts are clearly in the open on the issue. I didn't jump in making claims which are false and accusing someone of something without doing my homework. Hopefully C5 can try to be a little more clear and not misleading in the future as well as use the appropriate forum sections to carry out their organizations recruiting efforts. Good day.

The big point is the starting thread was misleading and quickly due to the replies from members of C5 turned into a Squad advertisement. They have a section of the forum for this. It is clearly both a misleading first statement with an attempt to use the multilayer thread for squad recruiting. Ref: Post by Cowboy.

Stable I can confirm being a veteran of server management that it is BE kicking players during mission downloads when things tend to timeout a bit more. When BE is off this is never an issue. It also happens to me as well as many other players. Less frequent when players already have the mission files downloaded from playing that exact mission before. The message printed to server_console.log

Well I could always provided a copy of the message he sent us via our website contacting us on that groups behalf saying he was a member. Number 2 this information is shown right on the C5 website/forums. It has nothing to do with PVP vs COOP players. Our Organization and myself for example enjoy playing both. Its a matter of principle and character. I could do the same thing and speaking about a "great" COOP server I JUST ran into (when I really have known about it and happen to be in the group that runs it for nearly a year). The type of gametype I hardly defines people's character and actions on these forums.

The original post of this thread is very misleading making it seem you are a regular public player who came across their server (near the time of starting this thread) and thought it was a great bunch of guys speaking as if you were a 3rd party. However seems you were a member of C5 since at least late 2010 according to their forum. I personally don't have any issue with the fact that C5 is posting a thread that promotes and informs the public about your services, however you have other threads which bash the servers provided by other groups and had one thread closed that also bashed BI's AI in-game. Also if you are going to have a thread like this I don't think it is very appropriate to post a very misleading thread. Not here to bash, only point out the information which anyone could obtain which is factual.

V2 signatures still work with V1, just not the other way around. No need to have both V1 and V2 keys folks. I appreciate you taking my request btw Jaynus and adding V2, however not sure why you still have the V1 since the V2 will work fine for those servers running V1 checks. Also can JayArmA2Lib be changed to V2? Much thanks. If All the ACE Mods content, Zeus AI ACE, ACRE, JayArmA2 Lib and shacktac movement/hud are setup for V2 then the 3rd Marine Division Gaming Organization will likely commit to V2. I will contact ShackTac on their addons along with a few other makers.

I would recommend looking at JestServers. Kevin (the owner) knows this game inside and out on the server end and what it takes to run it. His support is amazing and just got rated best in Customer Support for this quarter by GSP Ratings. He has EU servers now I believe... not sure what specific locations however. Let him know I sent you his way as I have had a long history with him and actually was one who helped work out the automatic ACE updates with Six-Updater when the ACE mod first came out.
