    It creates red zones based on building objects. If those buildings are part of the ILLEGALHOUSES then it will not work. OPFOR spawn around these same houses from my knowledge so it would be pointless to add red squares.
  2. Then something is not configured correctly. Be careful with your setup of the admins and command file. That can break it all very easily
  3. Thank you for applying my ideas with the scheduler. Also global, side and commander chat is disabled by the DayZ mission. It is not allowed to edit these at all per the DayZ policy. Admins who do will end up with blacklisted servers as they are cracking down on the policy violations.
  4. Everything is working fine for us and we even us our TcAdmin suite to manage BEC. Scheduler works fine to.

    If you could create this with the 3D editor build into ArmA2 you could then convert it to 2D using a little program. It would help remove the dependency on the 3rd party addon and allow mission makers to add it into their missions much easier. Looks good, just wish we could use it.

    Ya we use SU web on our dedicated box and always process userconfigs. I might have forgot to do it. However even before this recent issue Robalo ASR_AI has been eventually causing interaction at all levels to fail. We thought it was just the mission but the issue has stopped since removing ASR_AI. We will continue to test without it and see however if the issue reappears. If not we will add ASR_AI back on with the updated config. Thank you much!

    @Robalo Getting this error with the latest version. When we take ASR_AI off we have no problem with the error. Seems some others have had it after coming across some pastebin site last night. It ultimately caused much of the interaction or ace/acre interaction menus to not work as well for any player and the RPT was getting spammed until we restarted the mission. Also I have determined that when running ASR_AI on some missions that it will sometimes cause all interaction with vehicles and ACE interactions to just stop working at the same time for all players. Then all players have to rejoin to fix it from what I am being told. Since removing ASR_AI the last day the problem suddenly no longer persisted. This interaction issue has been happening since before.
  8. tpw, IF a server was to upload the .bikey for the mod version to our server would it work fine if only some clients used the addon or would the server also need to run the addon, and if so would there be any issues with dependency?
  9. @Specta3 Again as with our server you are not required to "clan up" and join our organization to fly on our servers. Military Gaming for example again promotes a larger ratio of public players instead of having 95% of our player base be members. Basically we focus on the community aspect a bit more. As mentioned by others there are plenty of servers like that. Again however some servers use reasonable (or unreasonable) limits to keep gameplay fun and enjoyable for the majority.
  10. The big thing is understanding that servers in ArmA2 are generally not cheap to run. Communities and groups vary on how they run their servers. Missions even of the same type in themselves can vary greatly between servers, as well as the rules and expectations established by the group and/or individual running it. To answer your question though, Bohemia does not host servers. In general the popular servers will require individuals to be in their voice servers (namely Teamspeak3). Many communities tend to run ACE and ACRE. Military Gaming for example generally just requires that there be the need in the server (ie not having 4 pilots flying around when you have 4-6 guys on the ground). Flying and other assets are there to support and there is a clear balance just as in real life. We only require that users also have ACRE and are connected in our teamspeak. Our missions are actually scripted to detect this and those who are not are via scripting keep from piloting aircraft. Beyond that however anybody is welcome to fly as long as those two simple things are meet. Obviously a minimum of ACE Mod is required for our servers, ACRE and our approved client side addons are completely optional, though ACRE does give players more opportunity. We generally allow new players the opportunity to get into flying fairly quickly, though we recommend players spend a short time getting familiar in our server if its their first time coming by. We tend to only go down the route of having admins restrict individuals from flying or using other vital assets if they show a major disregard by not supporting the ground troops, getting short down often, or just plain crashing often. Best way is to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and assume they are mature, professional, respectful and fun to play with. If they are not then we start using the leash a bit as necessary. If you are interested in coming by and seeing if you like the way we go about it you are more than welcome to. If you do not have the ACE and/or ACRE Mod our members and even regular players will be more than happy to help you on our teamspeak or forums. We are not a group which requires or even bugs community users to join our organization (which is not a military reenactment group which most milsim groups tend to be at varying degrees). We admin our servers based only on the posted use policy on our site as well as a little common sense for admin instructions.
  11. Looks like we will just do a entirely new script, as we can do what is needed with far less scripting and effort than updating/fixing this one.
  12. Ever hear anything from rommel on the script errors? Our Dev Team Manager for Military Gaming said the errors are not good, and that it would take a lot of work to resolve it, basically hinting at a rewrite. UPDATE: Here is the first main init.sqf error I am finding. The ones following are an example of what continues, even though I am not using M4A1.

  14. I would highly recommend going to Six-Updater. AddonSync is never updated and is far in-superior to the current abilities, process, and features of Six-Updater which is still frequently being updated/improved.

  17. @Sickboy or anyone, What do those whop are using the old 0.24.12 version which is a web-based interface for our game-servers update and get this all going? It will disable A2 and OA, and it currently does not have the current versions which is expected based on your comments.

  20. @ Major I just noticed your post a page or 2 back about the build with V2 sigs, but see the new release has them. I imagine you already tested since this is in the release so thank you very much. Our guys will be very happy with this news and our ability to help promote this great tool. If we have any issues or discover others during further use we will be sure to let you know and provide as much detailed info/repo as possible.
  21. As mentioned many previous times: You should be running the beta patch (on six-updater this is the expansion/beta) and @JayArma2Lib_new. If you download the expansion/beta under mods in six-updater as well as check the beta box then @JayArma2Lib_new will be activiated instead. Also for those who are not six-updater savy I recommend adding all the mods to the same preset.
  22. Yes we could create our own key, but this still creates the problem that the clients wanting to use @LEA on our servers must get the client key from us. This starts a wave of inconsistency and really more work that should ever be necessary. We are big in advocating for community consistency and cooperation.   23. The exe installer is NOT creating a LEA.pbo.bisign file along side LEA.pbo, thus even if a server has the appropriate bikey users will still get kicked (since the .bisign is the clients key). Military Gaming (and many others I am sure) cannot use this addon. This addon is great, however our organization will not endorse, support, and promote this addon until its implementation with appropriate working V2 signature keys is complete. Also as server operators we do not prefer to add keys which will allow other addons by that author/group to work. The intent on uploading a key is for it to work for only one specific addon. This is a great addition to the game so I hope this simple situation can be resolved soon. I would be happy to officially endorse and then promote this project.
