    Make sure you don't start Arma while downloading

    -Are you using WinXP64?

    -Go to settings and untick "use cache", then try downloading the repo.

    It will work slower but might solve the problem.

    I am not starting arma 2 while downloading.

    I am using Windows XP 64 Bit

    I have unticked "use md5 cache" (hope thats the right one)

    Problem still exists...

    My problem: Random files from the Yomas addonsync give me errors when they finish downloading. If i try and play it says that it is expecting a different file size and does not continue. The same 4-5 files are always highlighted blue and it always says they have been "changed".

    It has resorted to, when finished downloading, give an error box popup but no text. I tried using kellys heroes but that did it aswell. I deleted all the mods and started again but that didnt work. I reinstalled yomasync but that didnt work. I have completely run out of ideas.

    EDIT: It's too bad the regular version of the AUG (with 1.5 times zoom) can not be modelled correctly. It's supposed to be used with both eyes open, right? So the view should be like the "aimpoint view" only with the image on the scope zoomed in a bit. Now, the surroundings are completely obscured when using the scope, making this weapon quite useless at close ranges (and forcing you to use the CQB sights instead).

    You could make it like the USEC weapons pack steyrs. They did it ok, it was like the red dot but had that image. I like it, but the steyrs themselves werent very convincing.

    i think this was mentioned about 50 pages or so back...but the Russian Airbourne VDV package should really be included in ACE. I mean ace has really buffed the BLUFOR which is great and i lve everything about it...but OPFOR has been ignored completely. Also add some russian weapons systems or something. By no means make the russians have as good equipment as the USMC (this wouldnt be realistic) but make their equipment true to life aswell. It would greatly improve an already excellent mod.

    its a good addon..but i couldnt see properly any more than about 100meters, and when your in an AH1Z you need to be a little further away from that, past 100 meters (aroundabouts) it all become just a white mixture and nothing could be made out clearly.

    has this or will it be fixed?

    Whenever I fly a plane over chernarus,i havent tested Utes yet, after about 10 secs of flight everything begins to turn shades of red and it becomes difficult to see, like some sort of ArmA 2 Apocalypse.

    This has only occurred after i have changed a few settings in my video settings

    they are now as follows:

    AA: OFF

    AF: OFF (Anisotropic Filtering)

    Video Mem: Default (i have more than 512mgs)

    terrain detail:normal

    everything else on high

    view distance is about 3ks

    any thoughts?
