    Love this Island, like all of your stuff, I seem to have a very obvious issue with the drawing of the textures that I never noticed befor, as I move forwards you can see the textures changing from low/medium res to high res, it's like a texture tsunami.. I have all textures set to max/ultra. Might be just me, also getting a warning about a missing .paa, forget what it was, will need to go back and check, might be something pine related??

    Is anyone else having issues with this Chopper and the BIS support modules, or any other issues where it doesn't seem to want to do anything? EG 1 place a support module, linked it to the MH47, and then to the support caller.. Called the helo in for a pick up, it arrived, we (AI) loaded up, after the request for the DOP ... nothing, the bird just sat there.. restarted the mission, called the bird, ordered all inside, placed the drop off point on the map...... nothing, it sat there again. EG 2 substituted the Ghost Hawk from Beerkan's Para drop script, for the MH47... it just dropped into the sea, restarted, same thing, it just dropped out of the sky, replaced that with the RHS UH 60... no issues at all, flew the way points and turfed us all out. It's a Pity Konyo's seems to be no longer around to update this awesome Helo.

    NVGs work off ambient light, if it's overcast and dull, the picture will be the same, unless it's a clear night, clear skies and the moon is up, then NVG's will always look poor, of course throwing in an IR torch helps increase the brightness and also points your position out to the enemy with NVGs.

    would you not be able to use the animal skeletons already in the game, just make them larger? didn't someone may a velocilraptor mod ?

    I'm guessing that's why Fast Air can't be placed higher than 2-3000 M in the game, the aircraft always seem to do CAS from 2-300M's which is too low really, unless it's gun runs, or for a show of force. But then again, Arma series has always focused on land warfare.

    I run my VD at around 3500 M and shadows 2,500 with everything maxed on a GTX 970 4GB card, with 16GB RAM, and i5 4460 @ 3.2GHZ and I can get anywhere between 50-70 FPS on regular play, but as soon as I max out the Visual distance I lose 50% Frame rate, it's a bit of a no brainer really.

    I always assumed the greater the distance to be drawn the bigger impact you have on frame rates, and you're saying you have everything maxed out ? I'm curious as to what your average FPS is during combat ?
  15. There's maybe a weird bug with the Duala BLUFOR, the ones armed with the STEYR when they die, the weapons float above them. as if they're still in the original proxy position. http://imgur.com/HPEVFNe

    This is why people don't see the same issues as everyone else, unless everyone is running the exact same set up, it's only natural there is going to be differences, some only slight, but others more noticeable, and as another poster mentioned, the monitor itself can change the hues and saturations.

    Do you both use anything like Razor, game performance booster? It shuts down anything unnecessary to boost the game, it sounds like you're both suffering from a massive memory leak maybe, it's also interesting that you're both running SSD's, can't recall the guy who was posting last week, was also running an SSD, is there any chance you could have issues with that?

    Yep, I also get what you mean, but these reflections are only present at certain times of the day as the angle of the natural light changes, and only for limited periods too, what cast a sheen one minute can be gone in the next.
