OK, I was playing Halo Combat Evolved earlier on and it did the exact same thing. I went into the video settings screen and tweaked around. Turning off Vertical Sync fixed it, is there a way to do it with ArmA II, it may fix it with that.

I've got a problem with this island, when I try to load it in ArmA II it just exits the entire game. All other maps work though, it's the 2.6 version which won't work, any idea's?
-
I've never thought about that, I'll wait for a reply before I change it though.

The buildings remind me a little of those in JCOVEThey remind me of Mount & Blade strangely.

Hey,I do not understand one thing and wonder, if you've got a solution
for it up in your sleeves.
The bicycle does make a "ring" sound without having a bell.
Is that normal?
We should get on to BIS straight away with that problem, I just can't enjoy the game anymore after noticing that...

Not sure if it would count as rendering 3x ArmA2, I think it would be like having a wider FOV split onto 3 screens, not sure though.
-
You can change it in the option menu so that your men can be smarter than the enemies, it kinda balances it out a bit. What difficulty do you play on?
-
I think it will be because there is so much going on in multiplayer, the multiplayer missions have a lot of clutter and affect fps quite a lot.

Alright thanks, I do have some speakers somewhere. I just never bothered to set them up haha.
-
It doesn't do it when I use earphones, which also have much better quality than the bog standard monitor speakers, but with me being on TS3 and such it's annoying trying to wear a headset and earphones, thanks for the help anyway. Oh yeah, I only have my gamma setting 1/4 of the way up, could that be the problem do you think?
-
Man, that's expensive for 6mbps, I've got 10mbps for 25 pound a month. Works a dream :)

How clogged is your hard drive and do you have any big programs running in the background? It could be something to do with other programs hogging all the RAM and processor/processors.

I'm assuming this is the right place to make this thread, reason being, I want to shoot this trouble in the head.
When I am in ArmA II I get a strange noise coming from my monitor (my speakers are built into the monitor) which is like a kind of hissing noise, especially when zooming in and out on the editor or map screens. I get it a bit in the main menu and only slightly in the actual game. It may not seem like a big problem but it's annoying because I like to have my sound on pretty loud and this just makes the strange hissing sound even louder, any idea what it could be, I'm assuming its something to do with the hertz because the screen kind of throbs if you understand what I mean, will try to make a video so you understand, thanks.
*Edit*
I made a video but for some reason the throbbing effect doesn't show in it, neither does the hissing noise, strange.

I realise it's a niche game and only appeals to a relative minority of gamers so mass saturation marketing wouldn't be cost effective, but I still think at least a little bit of general marketing would help them out a bit better to build a larger base.I'm kind of glad only a small amount of people know about this game, because it's like an unspoilt thing. Unlike COD where it's extremely marketed and promoted to shit and then it's just like all the other games.

Wow, man I got a whole lot of respect for you. Fighting in so many wars, you must of been an amazing soldier. Hope I don't run into you in the multiplayer games haha, peace and prosperity be with you :)

;1612547']I don't think I'm gonna be able to provide a video' date=' but I do have a pic for you.Had been out flying with my Blackhawk.
The front screen is a Dell P2210 and the side ones are Acer V223WAbd.
That looks like a beast! I would love to have that, would be amazing!

Everyone having trouble signing up, check your junk folder. I found my activation email in there. I'm generating a mission now, will give feedback pretty soon.

Tried it and it worked really well, created a simple seek and destroy mission and was really fun and unpredictable, thanks man.

They will be standing up instead of sitting down, and you can't look around unless you aim down the sights and hold your ALT key, you also can't do any actions like reloading when using the attachTo command.

MuhahahaFinished GoW yesterday !!!
Locusts rulezzzzzzz
Yeah the Locusts would be quite cool people if they weren't trying to eliminate all humanity and take over the world, other than that they're cool guys to talk to :p

Fixed my problem now, the directory it was searching for my ArmA2.exe in was missing a "\", just needed to add it, it's installing now :)
-
I had a cool idea of being able to build trenches in-game, like through the action menu, although unrealistic it would still be cool. No idea how to get decent ones through the editor though.
-
The problems you mentioned arent fixed.Rather blunt, I think the AI driving has been improved and a lot of other things too.

I'd love to know exactly why it's called Black Edition, having a patch a doesn't in anyway change the colour of the game, black edition "Hmm, sounds sexy".

Just ran Arma2 this morning, SP mission Village Sweep and am now getting the message below at mission start:Sqd CO 1 (Ray Corto): "OUTDATED: USERCONFIG\ACE_CLIENTSIDE_CONFIG.HPP, ACE_KEYS.HPP"
I ran the SixUpdater and according to that I am fully synced.
I've run this mission before and never gotten this. Any ideas on how to resolve or update these files?
When you go on the updating screen where you can choose the mods, where it says "execute and start game" you change it to "execute, start game and process keys" or something like that, worked for me anyway.
Converting Nogovo To Arma II

I think it's great what you're doing, I would offer to help with it but I really no nothing about ArmA II editing, apart from how to make mod folders haha, keep it up. I look forward to spilling blood on these lands once again.
