Ok, when I ask my team leader what their location is in singleplayer they tell me the grid reference, but how come when one of my men asks me my location I'm not able to tell them, is there a way that you can reply to it with your grid reference? Thanks.

It is usually done with a simple left click, a small circle comes up in the Laser Designator if it works correctly.

Yeah I usually use the probability of presence, it works for making civillians attack me when grouped to OPFOR but I don't know how it will work when it's on your side.

Yeah I missed a few, shame you can't edit the polls.

Basically just put what type of Infantry unit you usually play as, e.g. Medic, Machine Gunner, Sniper etc. I like playing as a Medic, just hide in a house until someone goes down then run out to get them :) ---------- Post added at 05:52 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:48 PM ---------- Also post the name of any others I have forgot, Peace.

It annoys me when they say "1 be advised- Enemy Soldier to your front- close" and the enemy is actually like 150 meters away, I don't think that's close.

I tried it and it worked but the "15.9" part only has to be 12.5 or they fall about 5 meters, thanks everyone.

I've changed my favourite now, It's now the Automatic Rifleman, or the Men FR Heavy Gunner.

AVIBIRD you don't need to be dick about it, I HAVE got the Elite version of Operation Flashpoint on the Xbox, I played it a lot and it doesn't play exactly the same, you can't use as many commands, personally I prefer a gaming pad to keyboard and mouse, I never said it would be shit, it's just if you have a good enough PC you may aswell get it for PC, so don't talk shit to me telling me not to come here when you're the one being a dick, no one else seemed to have a problem with my post, and there was no reason to have a problem, so you know what FUCK YOU! after OFP:DR comes out I'm leaving this forum, everyone knows it will be a better game, you're just all in denial and follow each others lead if one says ArmA II is better everyone else is like "Yeah i love it too, i hate ofp:dr even though I havn't played it yet, but I'll judge it anyway" so go ahead and ban me if you think it will justification, but as I said I'm leaving anyway, so everyone else, good to know ya, but AVIBIRD and whoever else is a dick on here, just go hang yourselves please, do the world a favour.

I don't know if you agree with me but I think the should be a small change to the website, one where it gives you a notification if somebody has posted something in a thread you have started, for example; if you post in this thread then it would come up with a little sign near where the Private Message thing is, any one agree with me on this?

Yeah, you can be a Cow, Chicken, Alastian (a dog), Boar and a Rabbit, the graphics are great I think but the glitches you won't be able to deal with, they actually make the campaign unplayable, but it should get better after a few more patches, for now I'm just using the editor, it's a lot different to Operation Flashpoint but similar also. @dale0404: who are you calling a troll?

Erm, it's a great game in small doses if you get what I mean, you couldn't play it for hours on end and not get bored, the campaign lacks depth and it is very buggy and glitchy, but I would get the game just for the online community and the editor built into the game, the only problem with making missions is you always know what's going to happen if you make it yourself, but you should get it, it's a great game. Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising comes out this Friday (UK), I'm going to get it because in my opinion it looks a lot more playable compared to ArmA II, just try both out and decide wherever you like it or not.

I used to love the smell of a new game, and the weight of the box, while I'm on the bus home from getting a game I sit there with my nose stuck in the box sniffing that plasticy goodness, and reading the manual getting all hyped about playing it, two examples of that are Fable and Halo 2.

Sounds good mate, what did you mean when you said don't engage the RADAR Station aside from the AA, does that mean don't engage unless you're going to do the AAs aswell, good idea all in all, good luck with it.
