    Sorry, I don't think so.

    Besides, Far Cry 2 is the worst example you could have used. It is the most artificially prolonged, annoying and boring game I have ever played.

    Sure, it was good and entertaining in the start, but when I had to shoot through the same exact checkpoint for the millionth time I had just about enough.

    LOL u dont think so.. more like u dont want it to! u feel like a special group that only certain ppl should be a part of? selfishness..

    Yep if the game had less problems more positive things would be said about it, thus more sales. -- example: i pushed this game telling a friend how epic it was (when i was really reminising about OFP) after a month he went out and bought it, i was all excited lets have a game! What do u think of it (arma2)? what would u rate it out of 10? he said its pretty crap (in comparison to my sales pitch!) and he rated it a 5 / 10 :(

    anyway this is a ridiculous waste of time trying to make mention our dissapointment to some of you, you only want to hear all positives (reality check is needed), because u live for this game, its all some of u have, so i cant sway u @ all .. lolz

    arma 2 straight to the pool room :p

    i had the x1950 pro (agp) when i first got the game, yeah i had big sexii white vectors all over my screen to, always in the direction of the action when it got busy! - so i had to go get new everything & upgrade to PCI-express, i had to wait a month & save up b4 i could play it :(. got the gigabyte 4870, absolutely no problems running with standard driver included, though i run the game on medium specs, FPS over Prettiiness anyday.

    Yeah and thats the most important thing for sure! Whatever sells the most (sheep-friendly) is the best... Britney Spears tons of sales = best music ever!

    Lol no dont be sarcastic, no good... the game was simply released too early (yes rushed) to beat its RIVAL OFP DRAGON RISING.. And to make it more obvious, we have Operation Arrowhead, a STAND ALONE addon, wth no such thing, its a completely new game, and no doubt it will be fixed, like with missions & campaign that work well. Now in respect to sales, the more sales bohemia (or whoever) do, the more money they make, the bigger & better things will be! simple :p

    edit:: the reason i believe ofp will be better is cos they will iron out its game, less problems mean better game, word of mouth is the biggest seller, first one home isnt always the winner! - in saying that as i said above, in that time frame Bis may have arrowhead in sexii condition also..

    Special ED is right, most of you choose to disagree, idk why, head under a rock perhaps! Arma 2 offers nothing new at all, sheez u still cant drive a vehicle into the back of aircraft, or fast rope from heli's (without some fancy script!) - these are things that were tackled in OFP, how many years ago..? and the AI are the same crazy guys lol.. new graphics is all, yeah looks nice, but no long time "IMMERSION" like ofp, that was soo sexii for its time.. arma2 was thrown together imo, campaign had nothing of a story like ofp, wheres all the sexii cutscenes (speakin of them i cant remember how to make a cutscene in the editor, email help pls!?, triggers , effects yeah, waypoints effects yeah :s!!) ah all this talk, i feel like makin a mission now :) but hang on

    Another thing is "missing features", the community asked for since OFP.

    - Why can't we shoot from moving vehicles? VERY TRUE

    - Why can't we dive under water? (Navy Seals, U-Boat warfare, etc.) LOL

    - Why is there no transport system for: vehicles/ammo/fuel/etc.

    - Fastroping from helicopters. VERY TRUE

    - Two optics on weapons like G36 and many other modern weapons today.

    - Better control of grenade throwing.(think about CQB) *click* lol YEAH dodgey huh

    - 'add other important things right here'

    ALL OF THE ABOVE IS HUGE, because other shooters have these options, and they sell MILLIONS of copies!!! COD4 Far Cry 2, epic games on a smaller scale. but they ironed out the bugs, very very important. best thing about ARMA is the fact it will last as long as the community continues to make it last, the editor is great and the open source-ness (if thats what u call it) of the game and the ability for addons is endless. . . (so its content christmas everyday :P) but ah the bugs lol, there is 1 too many of dem :) if i had a nade at any stage during the campaign, i would have surely lobbed it @ my pc numerous times. NUMEROUS. (did i mention NUMEROUS!? lol)

Dude the things listed are REALISTIC things in army life or realism in general!! wth :s (i dont call ppl "dude" very often but i have to here!) lmao.. we want IMMERSION, fast rope is immersion to me, & standing or shooting from a moving vehicle is pretty standard since the turn of the millenium!!! ( i tend to exaggerate, only by a year or so.) And LOL it is not about performance, its about a balance of gameplay (- frustration) = good performance & good game :p

    lol sorry for the book..

    Mortein the bugs & Sexii up the new campaign ftw.

    YEP absolute junk for the money, omg the campaign, did any1 test it? LOL.. no competition against cod4 in respect to sales, and i think OFP will be 10 times better.. arma2 was rushed, released way too early.. and bah let the community deal with it.. :cool: not..

    Buts i still loves ya! - best multiplayer game ive played & the editor is sexii (include the breifing manager PREASE!) - now all this talk makes me want to make a mission. i wish we had snow map ! yehe
