[speaking about PC's AvP1 and AvP2] All the people I talked to thought the Marine part was the best and most epic... also because You weren't really the king of the battlefield, AND THAT'S WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT. They ARE SUPPOSED TO BE FAST, damnit! And so they were, and it was good. Even with that I painted many walls with them...

Call Of Duty is at least fast :| the whole game (the aliens, humans, guns) seems to be in slowmo :|

This so much.Game looks awful IMO. Crappy FOV, crappy movement, crappy gfx [models, textures, everything], crappy planned scenes and all looks so slow and... crap. Gosh I miss AvP 2 and Natural Selection.

Right. And BF is a clone of Quake, because it involves shooting.Don't get Your hopes up for Coop. It's gonna be most probably SP campaign, or SP-like play. Bots can take cover, but still - they run around (back and forth) without any sense or tactics. I guess the patches won't change much, RO2 is after all a PvP game, so don't expect a proper coop experience matching CounterStrike (PodBOT, CZ's zBot, CSS native bot), SWAT4, ArmA 2 or even Red River...

Naw, man - it's more about tolerance for:a) arcade shooters b) corporate greed c) overhyping From what I saw from last gameplays it looks like it have it's potential and can be fun, but then again, meh (point b) - Origin spyware, picky Battlelog and finally the "you can't host your own server for free" thing. It's not the way I wan't my game served. And than, finally (point c), there's that ultimate love for BF 3 (that suprisingly mean hate for everything else), like it's the best thing in the world, "(...) and if You think otherwise, You suck cocks". I think most of the people are hating the last two, like me, not the game itself.

No KillZone for PC afair. I forgot to say one thing - I don't know why You people rage so much about "flashy sniper scope". In my opinion, it's a great idea and I'm shocked it took so many years to find such a simple solution to excessive camping\snipers ruling the battlefield. Surely, I'd rage about it in ArmA series or inside RO 2, but mainstream arena shooters plagued by campers?

Dunno if it's from recent public beta, and from what people say most of the bugs are caused by sloppy servers lag, but hey... it's pretty funny neverthless. Not in english, but hey, image is universal.

pffft, nubs. It's like the best proof how that "better" part of gamers is dying...The game is much, much, much! more player-friendly then RO1, much more dynamic and less "killed from 1 km by guy who camp instead of doing obj", it's also pretty universal and it doesn't have ANY weak part of artwork - everything is just kick ass. To me, it's the real sucessor of Day Of Defeat... except for bugs, it's everything I could ever want from a WW2 PvP tac shooter. Having that in mind, I'm thrilled by the amount of hating adressed for RO 2 (and analogically, the blind love for BF 3). Today's generations suck.

I bought RO2, I played it. I even fought side by side with Mr. Charles. And You know what? I think it's great. Of course there are annoying things such as: - people, who doesn't have a clue - broken server browser - random crashes and sound "cut-offs" [but not very often] - lack of most 16:9 resolutions [the only one I can set - 1280/780 - wtf?] - inability to cancel "chat" mode by pressing escape - too popular MKB's - cheaters [we "met" one yesterday on server with VAC and PB on... meh] - shitty VOIP but other than that... geeez, this game is so awesome! Epic animations, great models, gore, great sound and music and big fun from using weapons. It's really fun and I personally find it better then RO1 (I just miss RO1's maps), in "realism" setting and with good people it doesn't share much (anything?) with CoD. On the other side, game doesn't have enough audio speeches, music and maps... especially maps. After few hours it's really repetitive. But hey, it was well spent money. Now let's just see how they patch the game and include everything they were saying they'll include (coop for example). It'll be a beast. When is the SDK coming out?

Actually that's the problem of almost every non-"elitist" games\mods (firearms mod - great community and players, but there's hardly any populated server), it's annoying as hell.People don't use mics, don't coordinate actions and they ignore people who try to gather it all up so it makes any sense. People buy and take milsim\realistic(ish) games and play them like CoD, wth is wrong with this anyway? Same goes for ArmA 2 on public coop servers. Want cooperation and ppl on the mics? Well... play Counter-Strike Source. At least in Poland it's the most mature public-server playerbase.
