Multi-Session Operations v4.0 released
ACPL Jon replied to tupolov's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - USER MISSIONS
Thanks for info, I'll write the tickets someday. Anyway, I meant the MSO missions supported with 4.03 release. I wanted to set the default ones, so other admins just have to choose mission, without having to set all those things. -
Multi-Session Operations v4.0 released
ACPL Jon replied to tupolov's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - USER MISSIONS
Got some questions and feedback, but first things first - thanks for this great mission. Second thing is, is there anything linked with units, or can I just put the ones I like? (because from what I seen under the editor, there's no unit names or scripts executed). If so, what about moving the base to someplace else? Will the scripts bear with units put inside opened buildings. Third thing is, even tho I choosed Taki Insurgency only in the mission options, I got a message from CAS pilot that told me there's a T-72 in the area. Overally the APC's and tanks are too aware of the enemy and can rape those through fog and so on. This isn't really realistic as well as encountering 3 BRDM's or BTR-40's in one fight for a village. My main request is: a MP Param letting You choose the type of vehicles You want to encounter. Would be like: Inf only, Technicals, Light Armour, All. Btw, what is the skill of the enemy and wouldn't it be good to have some option for it? And does Team Leaders get CAS available the next day for example, when they used all the available assets? Another idea, taken from Dynamic Afghanistan MP Campaign from OFP. Rest & Relax option available in some movable tent & within the main bases. Which would make all players max health & stamina (if this can be achieved), and most importantly, few hours would pass in the game, so You could choose when You go out on patrol or stuff. and finally, looking at the files, I don't really get it how I can change default MP Params, so it's mainly fight against insurgents, not a regular conflict (I'd suggest that setting for a default one, because in actual missions You don't have any heavy assets). -
Except that quickbandaging thing, RO 2 gameplay > RO 1 gameplay, to me. But then again, left only with like 6, small maps, it gets really boring after few months of CQB and MOUT meat grinder. We really need new maps. Also, I can't wait for the mods. Nacrox - good news, they already mentioned DH 2, so I guess we can expect it. Can't wait to fight on the Pacific Islands and in Vietnam, during WW1 and on the western front of the WW2. And finally... I would love to see modern warfare RO. Modern warfare mid-pace, tactical shooter, thing Insurgency mod failed at miserably. And auto-role-change for people on the Squad Leader and Commander slots if they don't issue orders, gah.

Another patch is out, server map download issue seems to be solved, too. And guess what? Full SDK is out. THEM CUSTOM MAPS INCOMING!

ShackTac Fireteam HUD (STHUD)
ACPL Jon replied to dslyecxi's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Another great release, thanks. But, no "names only" option? :( I know few guys who are against the HUD, but they'd love to see [by nicknames] who they have within the team, because sometimes under fire it's hard to memorise 8 or 12 men squad names ;) It always served best to squad leaders, and would love to see that feature for the more "hardcore realism" guys. Btw, it'd be good to have the key combination adjustable in the .hpp userconfig, ACE\ACRE-like. Just because in my world, Shift + H brings up radio panel, and that'd probably collide. -
nvm, pls delete

Oh, you're so cool for being "above" BIS forums discussions. Beagle said it well, btw. -

Depends on point of view. Or if You want it even simplier, both. -
Did You tried Painkiller? It's even better then Serious Sam (cooler weapons, better feeling, more variety and more Quake-Like). I also recommend the "Battle out of hell" expansion.

Anyone participate in Alpha? If so, how's the game?

ACPL Jon posted a topic in OFFTOPIC - Games & Gaming
Even tho "You can't spell Ignorant without IGN", I think maybe it's nice to show we're not so little in numbers. You can vote for ArmA 3 (as your most anticipated title of 2012), HERE. edit: true. Sorry. -
Iron Front - Liberation 1944, new WW2 game on A2:OA engine
ACPL Jon replied to Choki's topic in IRON FRONT: LIBERATION 1944 - GENERAL
Got a question, which bothers me from the time You uncovered the place of the battles. Will there be any kind of resistance forces? I guess I don't have to say which nationality ;-) also, what with civilians, civilian cars and arma-2s usual ambient-life modules? Btw, any hint what modules will we see in Iron Front? -
He didn't lied when he made the "JSRS 1.4 - it's gonna be epic" video title. I agree. It IS epic, indeed. Didn't had opportunity to test most vehicles, but guns... guns made me change my pants, duhhhh. Thanks once again Jarhead, great, great job.

As you know (by zGuba) or maybe not, atm my contribution for (polish version of the) the mod died along with my old system; But you guys make me smile anyway. I waited for this so long... Malden and Nogova are (along with Chernarus) the best islands of the series. I'll be happy to fight on them again, and I'm very happy we saw this, so important, release. Thank you Thank you Thank you! And see Ya on der battlefield! -

Norton? I feel sorry for you brotha'. I had some adventures with him too... After that, I used to use Avast, then I took a Script Pack to the HDD I can recommend Avira. It killed everything Avast and NOD werent able to. Sure, it has it's commercials, but it's not intrusive. Me & few my buddys recommend it - give it a try, it's a really good software.

...nevermind -
Yeah. Actually, whatevers the artistic or documentary point, I think it sucks. People age, they have better and worse days, they sometimes cut they facial hair, sometimes do not. Sometimes they are tired, sometimes they are nervous, and sometimes completely relaxed... plus the enviromental stuff (it's obvious your skin better takes the living in homeland instead of a military camp in the middle of nowhere) and these photos simply show it. Worthless, IMO, if we look at it from the direction walker gave it.
