  2. Could that some how be modified to leave one or 2 magazines no matter how many magazines the killed unit has? This is an interesting thread for me as I found the only solution for looting a dead a body is completely removing its inventory or disabling the option to search it all together which both seem wrong, what about some middle ground that rewards the killer but does not make searching a boring chore due to the fact they all carry the same equipment, maybe something that can leave a mag or 2 and maybe a chance of some defined equipment To replicate what I see when watching Day Z or Escape Takarov videos where player never knows what he might get. apologies I get its probably out of the scope of this thread, but it's subject is along the lines of what I'm currently searching for.

    Arma 4 Poll

    I guess it's really all down to what each of us do with this title, do we simply play it, (Does anyone play it??) mod it, create missions for it, or swim around doing Triple flip samasults in the code like dolphins as some gurus here do lol. I hope Arma 4 becomes even more "editor" friendly, so that more content makers make more diverse content that I can play with in the editor, otherwise I guess at the end of the day I'm not too bothered about what A4 might be... Ok I lie, I can guess what it will be :/ Anyway it seems like every other day I find something new to keep me bemused... For example I've only just discovered an awesome intro camera script that I just can't stop messing with, it makes my missions look fkn awesome right up to the time the intro stops and script errors start kicking in! Damn u undefined variable assholes!

  5. Was that for DAC or another spawn system? my memory is shot to pieces but i remember someone making a Flash application for their spawning system, it worked quite good from memory. NVM

This map obviously works very well with the whole survival theme of which I have recently dived head first into but I also setup a few DAC missions with RHS and CUP and well, they all go together very nicely.. Feels very authentic. i might be be over thinking it or my lappy might be playing tricks on me but there is a very strong contrast of dark and light when moving in and out of forests, it's very immersive, especially coming out of a forest into the open fields, the lighting work on this map is outstanding, it can at times feel a bit too strong but that's suits my taste anyway.

  10. Just following up, with the new version I have kill reward working on EOS, Upsmon and standard editor placed units in a single mission, very happy! Just a query while I'm here and haven't tried yet, is it possible to use this as a hiring/recruit system using the example: [500,1] call HG_fnc_addOrSubCash; function, e.g. include that in a addaction on a unit that includes a joinplayers group, maybe out of scope when I think about it and writing this? I managed to get a recruit addaction working, a unit joins my group and money is taken with this in a script: [500,1] call HG_fnc_addOrSubCash; [Medic] join group player, medic removeAction medicjoin; Is it possible to add this check as a condition somehow? if _hasEnough = [500] call HG_fnc_hasEnoughMoney; Currently if i dont have enough the player still joins me and takes whatever i do have and leaves me at 0, much like real life! Thinking about that it would be cool if it could go in the red with a defined threshold amount, much like debt, once passed the threshold badthingshappen.sqf lol Is there another saving method that can be used instead of savingMethod = "Profile"; if the mission is SP only? Cheers!

How about some unorthodox overhead AK action for a laugh, I can't get any reference coz on cellphone but there's some great reference images online.. come to think of it I've seen footage of marines using the same method. Also how about more poses of moving through battle, like peeking, crouched running, evading sniper type movement to more sprinting under fire.

  18. NVM, wrong version, lots of versions around. Actually 5th Edit: how can i apply kill reward for editor placed units? it works well with EOS... but not for editor placed units? also it seems to kit me out in Nato gear at startup, where/how can i 'reset' things for SP. Its throwing me a curve ball as it seems to remember things even when im testing in the editor.. something to do with that stringable.xml?? Sorry for dumb questions, im still sifting through everything... It went from this simple shop script from my first download to a full blown shopping mall :D, its pretty awesome though! Cheers

    No pressure BI lol, people's life happiness is at stake here, again! im easy regarding the DLC and what ever it might be, and I'm strictly SP, I've never really been interested in any official Arma 3 missions and played only 5% of the. campaign before getting bored... It's just me, short attention span. I have fully embraced the 3D editor now, that thing is nearly as beautiful as Photoshop, I hope one day BI builds an Orbat that allows us to easily build our own armies and factions (ala the Alive ORBAT) to use in that editor, including easy retexturing of all assets, that would nearly be the perfect sandbox, the perfect one would be the ability to build terrains in it as well, that's where I hope they will take Arma, A fully realised editor, make it "more" easier for (us wanna be) modders to create the content and mission makers to do their thing, that way BI don't need to worry about campaigns and missions or what era the next title will be, etc they just provide the tools... BI mission makers are like "fk off buddy" ? Anyway i have sunk a few hours into this game and kinda hope there is no Arma 4 because now I'm at the age where I feel guilty wasting so many precious hours in a day on a damn computer game, look at me blabbering away I forgot what thread I'm on...

  24. Hey team, sorry if it's been asked a gazillion times but will there be any improvement on the lighting at any stage, I only ask after seeing what was possible in ChernarusRedux, you really notice the difference, like 2d to 3d.
