  1. the second livestream was fantastic, thank you devs for another awesome video wetting my appetite just that much more.

    Have to say, my favorite part was the night mission viewing the battle in the distant, felt really authentic.

    If I have to criticize one thing, the co-pilot in the SDV without his oxygen mask and goggles was a bit of a let-down. Lets hope they fix that.

    Under - class ammo and find "RH Pistol Ammo Box" :p

    Ok I've tried adding the weapons to units via the init file and they work (addweapon, addmagazine etc...)

    But for the life of Moses I can't see the weapons crate/ammo box in the editor selection.

    I'm looking under Empty>Ammo and Empty itself, but nothing.


  3. Sorry if this has been covered before, but I couldn't find the right topic to answer my query.

    What I would like to know, is a way for a helicopter to pick you up, load out a covering team, await while you get in, team gets back in chopper and off you go.

    For those that have played the Sniper and Defend Village SP missions on COD4, you'll understand where I get this idea :)

    Is there a txt file I could download with all the scripting codes for these weapons as well as their magazines? I would like to use them in other units with 'addweapon' and 'addmagazine' etc...

    THIS IS ACTUALLY A GREAT ADDON, THANK YOU SO MUCH!

    My only complaints:

    1. the HK MP5 SD6 does not make a sound when reloading.

    2. The soldier doesn't hold the front bar of the HK MP5K rifle.

    Calling people trolls when they can't even construct a decent sentence, yet alone followed by their awful spelling.

    Emery & Matchy, the solution to your problem is quite simple - either stick it out until your German is good enough for the both of your to au pair somewhere in Frankfurt/Munich etc, or go to your nearest games retail store and purchase the international version of Arma 2.

    Your failure to wait patiently for the English version, unlike most other English members of this board did , even the 'die-hard' ones, cost you to stick with the DU Arma 2.

    You both know what to do.

    No I wouldn't, because quite honestly, I wouldn't be stupid enough to go buy the German version knowing fully when the official release date for my preferred version was going to be.

    In fact, it's exactly what I did.

    The person who posted this thread clearly had no patience and therefore must suffer the consequences, quite frankly.

    Surely it's out in Aussie land?? I think the 20th of July was the release date?? Anyway it's not BIS's fault you had to go buy the German one.

    Sounds like to me you're too skint to go get yourself the AU version and you're taking it out on BIS.

    Go to the shops and buy your preferred version.


  8. Neighter. It just fire the weapon, but don't aim. It's your job to aim the weapon.

    I try to explain by an example.

    I needed an areal bombing and I setup a F-35 flying over the area. And I create a trigger, if it is in the firezon, the trigger fires F-35's bombing weapon with the above command. So it's just release the bomb, but don't target anything...

    Hi mate, may I ask you a step-to-step guide on how you went about doing that please? Thanks :)


  9. To keep it simple, I have a waypoint synced to a trigger that makes it activated as soon as a target is destroyed. So basically:

    Waypoint X > SYNC (F5) > Trigger Activation on 'Vehicle' when 'Not Present' > GROUP (F2) > Vehicle Target.

    The mission has me, gunner, of an AH-1Z, flying to the previous waypoint 'HOLD' where the pilot awaits the incoming convoy targets.

    I've also increased the 'completion radius' to about 1000 meters of the 'HOLD' waypoint.

    Problem: the next waypoint doesn't come up after convoy is destroyed.

    What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.


  10. I'm supprised that BIS didn't put this in, but what about an F-18? Don't the USMC use those?

    They do but, for obvious reasons, they can't operate on Amphibious Assault carriers like the one in the Utes map.

    For that to be in the game would've required BIS to make a Nimitz-class carrier in the game as well.

    I'm sure the Mods will cook up something good:)
