I have a question, put the Chinook Multplayer to rotate and when the units boarded and the pilot took off happened that the units were not in the gunners were thrown out, does anyone know how to solve this?Yes there doesn't seem to be any cargo slots in the back for passengers, does everyone else have the same problem?

It really is a shame that people slag off Karel's work after he spent something like half a year building it, and some haven't even tried it yet to see if they themselves get the bugs. But I guess that's human nature, to complain.Agreed, although from other forum posts it's pretty clear that it's a minority. This mission eclipsed Red Harvest for me and the quick release of the Hotfix couldn't have been better (and yes I did lose a couple of hours to the truck bug).
Now, just make sure Arrowhead has the same quality and you are sorted

I still can't get into the truck, I've reloaded to before I join the squad. Healed up etc, all I get is a @^&$*^ order to man the static machineguns. :mad: :(
Edit: managed to do it, if you are injured at the point when you join the squad you can't do it so save often.

Hey, I was giving this a go last night and have to say it's a great addition. The only thing is I don't seem have any cargo slots for people, is it supposed to be this way?

Hold Fire seems to actually mean don't fire unless under threat.

It does take some to get it configured just right to give it that natural feel. I also find myself trying to look around when playing other games, it's like having a missing limb or something.

But don't you guys find it distracting to be looking around while your rifle is pointed in one direction and your head in another then trying to center your view to the sights when you want to fire?All you do to center your view is relax your neck and bring your head back to a facing forward position. Everything is completely customisable, you can even enable/disable/center at the press of a key.

The chinook will be released with all its functions, but we are not very far away now. Norrin has been working on temp objects and scripts during this. :)

I'd expect MP is going to key in making this popular, even if it's at a fireteam scale.
Have you considering running a Dedicated Server in a VMWare OS on your machine?
Lastly, kudos to all the work so far, it's shaping up to be great.

Are you planning on releasing the initial Chinook once finished or wait for the full suite of functionality?

This looks so great, particularly like the slow zombies. Get that feeling of evitability, the need to conserve ammo and not get complacent.

Unit stays on the spot in kneeling position but it can still aim/fire.

Firstly just want to say this is a great app, it's already highlighted a number of issues for me to look at :)
I don't know if this is because I'm in a particular view or mode but after a while sometimes the MAP1 & MAP2 buttons fail to work until I restart the mission.

Same issue here. A friend and I have completely given up trying the coop campaign. Unfortunately, this is the entire reason we bought the game, and we are both extremely disappointed in the quality. Why did we pay $50 to beta test this thing?Same here we managed to get to DoW but it doesn't save at all in MP?? It's just too long to do in one go, even if you could we don't want to have to rush through just to do it in one sitting. :mad:

Can anyone tell me if and when the savepoints are in the Dogs of War mission? My buddies and I are trying to complete this mission, we have played for hours and managed to get a defensive position in terms of the towns but we don't get any saves even when ...
you take Chernogorsk and the marines arrive
... Are there only saves for missions that don't involve town captures or something? Are there any at all?
