    Problem with EDEN panels.

    I doubdt. I manually checked my config with a text editor and there is no possibility that there is any bind of E other than "move forward". I pointed this problem on bugtracker however I recieve no answer from anybody. It looks everybody can hide this bloody panel with different key than E except me.
  2. What does Max Ping and so one means? I don't see any description of such parameters on config server page of Bohemia. As a next modification my proposition is to set TADST able to run in location different that Arma3 directory (which should be quiet easy). BR

    Line Drawing

    At last there will be availability of ploting our position based on bearings of compass! Of course if compass will be big enough to see any values on it (it means MUCH bigger). Nowadays when small game interface size is setted (I assume it is standard) compass is almost useless on the map. Regards. EDIT: Hmmm... I see this will be "curved" line. Well, it would be good if there would be an option of drawing a "straight" line for simple cartographic works (eg. CTRL+SHIFT+LMB).
  4. Hello K-Town. Glad to hear comment fix is on the way. However I am suprised with intentional way of handling of "for". Mainly because official manual specifically says how "for" should looks like: https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/for What you've said about some exclusions in checking of rules questioning point of usage error correction at all. Of course I understand compexity of plugin maintenance, but as you see I had to ask you on this forum "is everything OK", lost some time to check if code is compatible with reference and finally I've lost all the time I've gain using your plugin. In this situation maybe justified would be option of "turn off error correction"? Regads.

  10. Hello. Today - just after patch i decided to try keyboard presets (without any reason - jus to check what will happen). I tried some of preset (no matter which one) because I WAS SURE when I will choose "Arma 3" i will back to MY not some fancy-default one! This is big misunderstanding. Because you are creators you have to know how annoying is to set all keys once again. In this menu MUST be position "your previous keybinding" or something similar or you should expects Zeus intervention. Is in this patch included posibility of configuration movement of Eden camera?
  11. Functionality request: It would be good if A3S would remember path to the last added addon directory or even would allow to add more than one addon directory at once on Addon Options tab.
  12. @thor2k4 @ferwindjacks What are your needs? How many players, are your missions massive warfairs or small ones? Maybe here you will find your answers (especially section "BANDWIDTH OPTIMISATION" in first post) https://forums.bistudio.com/topic/139003-tutorial-how-to-run-arma3-on-a-dedicated-server/ Probably there is no easy solution and tests are needed. For up to 10 players in missions with low to moderate number of units I don't change anything and everything works fine.

    Access from init.sqf

    Unfortunately I have another question. In MP I've placed couple of players. I want to add this selectable respawn menu. I know how to do it, i know how to prevent of choosing respawn first time, but I don't know how to make user don't appear in any respawn point but one the position which has been placed in editor. Is it possible? Maybe there is other approach? Regards.
  14. Gameplay: 1. Until now when I selected a unit I recieve command menu 1..9. Nowadays i recieve context menu (but keyboard shortcuts for standard one still works properly). 2. When i will turn on this option which allows to show units on HUD (I don't remember exact name) I see hexes on all units even when I have deselected them. 3. AI see through the grass. It is visible especially when i try to lean throug the ridge of the hill - I am instantly killed without any chance of spotting enemy. 4. AI knows where I am. This is very annoying (I have heavier words in my mind). AI tracks me like a flare in the night. I am unable to do anything in close or moderate distance (AI skills 60, accuracy 80). 5. I see wheel turn indicator. This is wrong because i don't want to. Additionally this inicator isn't centered with a wheel. EDEN: 1. Still keys for movement of camera are not configurable. Big issue for me. Video: 1. Using HDAO in the night cause some "lags". I use tbbmalloc (I don't know if this is connected somehow). I know HDAO is GPU consuming but this is queit weard this consumption ins't linear. Launcher: 1. There is no possibility to set "Servers" as default tab. 2. When I will change set of mods I have to save this set to launch it (it should be saved automatically or at least with CTRL+S). 3. I can save set of mods, but it would be more convenient (especially for players-missionmakers) to save whole profile (all tabs). Just like in Arma3Sync. Gratitude: 1. At last last sounds start sound real. 2. Nice HDAO effects. 3. EDEN, EDEN, EDEN 4. New font - much better than old one (but still some sections are not converted, eg. time in subtitles of missions start). 5. Good direction of improvement of launcher (but some work is still needed). 6. Machine gunner AI have nice tend to lie fire on my last position.
  15. Hello major_shepard. Currently BI works on new launcher which will have a brand new multiplayer searcher. Do you plan to add similar funcionality? I am just curious. I tried this BI launcher and I have to admin this is very good tool. Regards.
  16. @mind Yes. Now it works. I suspect ability of placing objects stright in Eden but as i understand it is impossible. Two issues: - keybinings of camera movement are WSAD (i use DEFS). Good feature would be keys customization. - i see on the video there is an icon on the toolbar. In my Eden there is none. Is it possible in feature releases to use CompoT without copying any files to my mission? I mean acting like "fully independent" mod. It would be much more intuitive. Anyway good job. For me - must have of edition.
  17. @mind Hang was happen only first time. I've pressed "new project" when there were no mission loaded. This wasn't CTD, but game didn't react (I saw blurred Altis from above). Regards
  18. Hello. In last beta build and CompoT 0.2 i have such error when i try to run CompoT: 15:03:32 Warning Message: Script ct_libraries.sqf not found 15:03:32 Warning Message: Script ct_projects.sqf not found Those files is in CompoT directory. Also when I try to make new projects, games hangs.
  19. I am litlle bit supraised there are only three classes of civs but other side it is not so strange... You should bold info that there is another script. If you hadn't mentioned about it, I hadn't knew. Are there any others? I wait for version 1.0. Good ambient module is wanted!
  20. @enigma Can they "simulate" some behaviours like chating each other, watching on something, simple staying, car usage? I ask because on the movie i see each of them only wandering in area. Can you add to UNIT_CLASSES as default all civilian classes of A3? Of course i can do it by myself but I think it would be reasonable to not making not neccesary effort :)
  21. I don't know. Only what i know is TADST can start server with predefined list of cycled missions. Or rather i should say that server can be started with cycled list and it is configurable in TADST. I suppose server sees only missions in MPMissions. Then there is no point to list them in TADST. When you log first time to fresh server you have to use "#login pass" to go to the mission selection. If not you will have a black screen. Also no-admins have a black screen when admin change the mission.
  22. @alleycat Tab "Missions". There check in your missions. First checked on the list should be the first mission launched by server. If you don't want to cycle change, just check one mission (I gues, I didn't try). @thesh1tgamer Your statement has no sense. Server interface is a simple window and can't load any map or briefing. Your description fits to launching game via LAN. And it has nothing to do with TADST or dedicated server. You have to clarify what you do (not wat you think you do). Good idea is to record a movie, publish it on YouTube and give us a link to this. It will show us what you exactly do. @1212PDMCDMPPM This is a hidden feature :) If you have some main addon directory with nested addons just go into this main dir, select all addons dirs and drag them to "Available Mods" of TADST.

    @oukej I agree with you with communication. Hovewer nowadays leader knows about the death of his ward immediately. To be sure i've done yesterday some tests and result is always the same: no matter how subordinate will die and how far he is from the squad, the rest is alarmed. No exclusions. Is there communication between AI units like "return to formation" and so on? Maybe reason is i kill AI too fast and he can't respond for initial call "return to formation" which should be usually send by commander?
