Hello fellow DACers, Question regarding DAC_Reduce_Value: I'm trying to keep track of civilian casualties but it is incredibly challenging with DAC reducing the civilian groups. I don't want to completely remove the DAC reduction as I want enemy AI to reduce down to the squad leader at distances. Is there a way to force certain zones not to reduce? or is DAC_Reduce_Value always and forever a global setting across all zones? Thanks. -
[Question]Disable Smashing Grass when Prone?

Hey all, Is there a server/mission-side option to disable smashing grass down for all clients? Not looking to disabling grass completely, but rather just disable the ability for the grass to be smashed down. I can see that the grass does slowly come back up after being smashed so I guess another possible approach would be to set the time required for the grass to come back up if possible. Tried a while searching for an answer but it only results in troves of DayZ forums asking for completely disabling grass. Thanks. -
Hello all, As I've started to setup my pipeline for getting 3D assets into A3, I've run into an issue with O2's Bulldozer review as seen below: https://i.gyazo.com/263fbfbc73f790aafe9892313880b9ba.png Blanker than an unused CDROM. Using ARMA3 example model Test_House_01_F.p3d. Tried with a few others with the same results. This is fresh install of arma 3 tools so default settings. If anyone knows what is causing this, your information will be greatly appreciated. Secondary question: Is there some kind of ARMA modder's cove where I can ask/answer trivial questions that do not necessarily need forum posts? Thanks.

(Final?) Follow up: I've reformatted. Completely started over. Fresh install. DevP setup did not install buldozer so I did it by hand. Still the same problem but now I can't even zoom with noticeable effect in buldozer. Unfortunately I don't believe it worth my time to continue trying to figure this out. Thanks for the help guys, that's it for me.

No dice. Tried with Arma 3 Samples Test Lamp and Test House. Video of problem:

No luck. Tried removing other flags without much change. I can now confirm bulldozer is definitely running (not frozen) by removing -noland. Can definitely zoom in/out but no model is rendered.

NATO SF and RUSSIAN SPETSNAZ VEHICLES for A3

Hey Massi, Love the vehicles. But for static weapons, some of them are ear-bleedingly loud. (Namely SPG-9 and TOW). Any plans to tone down the decibels on these? Example for the SPG-9. Firing the SPG-9 is extremely loud : vs. Metis firing -
I suppose so. I did 2-3 tests on each map in the same area. They were all the same on their maps so I only uploaded 1 clip from each map. With all this in mind, I think I'm going to do another (much more refined) test including testing with and without Headless client running. The inconsistency across these maps has me really curious to get better tests.

What kinda languages are you using? :P (Preface: this whole multi-quote button is cool) I've done a very rough test of how well the AI in my editor preview were blocked by blastcore smoke with the following mods: -Blast Core Phoenix w/ Zabuza Fix -ACE -RHS -AiATP -Kunduz -Hypnomatic's projectile tracing I did not test with vanilla because frankly, It is irrelevant to me how well it works without ACE and RHS. Tested on AIATP Utes, Altis, and Kunduz. From the looks of things, AI has a rather difficult time giving a hoot about smoke on Utes and possibly other AiATP Maps. As for Altis, the view block seems to have been on and off. There was Definite lack of shooting me in the face when I smoked the clearing around the Altis terminal. However with what I assume was slight clearings in the smoke, the AI continued to put accurate shots on me. For Kunduz, again a Definite lack of simulated face destruction via bullets with smokes. However, they seem to ignore smoke during their target acquisition stage and then go "oh wait, there's smoke there." as if realizing they aren't supposed to be shooting through it. I think a similar test but with a HC server would result in good info to see if it has something to do with calculation times. I conclude with "Does BC smoke block AI view?:" Yes with a trailing (?)

This is the greatest thing you could have spent your time on and for that you have my highest thanks. If you plan to continue work on this, my suggestion would be to make the cannon round a tracer; be it custom or vanilla so that it may be seen at night. P.S. Thank you for using CSAT. It's highly appropriate. -

As a LAV lover, a Laver if you will, I would love to see the LAV AT in this mod. The group I run has used quite a number of Chairborne Industry mods in the past but the LAV mod is particularly favored by us.

The US military's ridiculous idea to use explosives to push an explosive to its target. The fly-by-wire missile uses rocket charges angled down to keep in the air every second or so as it flies. Wonderfully stupid and I love it. -

Really loved playing around with this in the editor. Thank you for your work as it is definitely A+ quality. However, without Dedicated server support I cannot add it to my community's mod collection. I, my members, and I'm sure many others here would greatly appreciate dedicated server support. Apologies if you touched on this subject before in this thread that I have missed.

This is great! Thanks for the work. Much better than mission-side solution. Inquiry: Any plans on adding AGM line draw logging? That would be a beautiful. If not, completely understandable as I can't image it'd be simple due to how they seem to work. -

Has anyone gotten RHS content to cost points in Zeus? I have a Zeus test mission setup where the Zeus player only has access to spawn RHS content. However, as soon as I Synq the Set Costs - Soldiers & Vehicles module to the Curator module, all RHS content is no longer spawnable. If I do not restrict the addons to only RHS and instead allow Zeus to spawn everything, as soon as I synq the Set Costs - Soldiers & Vehicles modules, only the RHS content disappears from the list of spawnable units leaving Vanilla content working fine with costs.- 16577 replies
