  1. Unfortunately I wouldn't allow this. This is mainly due to a number of reasons:

    1. Some of the library is licensed audio.

    2. Some personally sourced audio isn't suited to weapons.

    3. Most of the audio has been tailored to be played at distance rather than close to the user (I don't think Jarhead would find it useful).

    4. It's primarily used for NIAC, as such the sounds in the pack are meant to be unique for all users to give them something new.

There is a new version in development with an extra few hundred samples, but they are all remastered to suit distance audio even more.

Cheers for spotting it though .

I know those are more distant sounds but he could have used the arti explosions for distant explosions.

well that's a reason to not use it.

Anyway i'm looking forward to the remastered package ;)

Btw: I thought you dropped your NIAC script?

  2. And the Catalyst software is awful ... confusing, inconsistent and generally terrible user interface. And the interface properties and elements change from version to version. If you go online to troubleshoot, people in forums or the AMD website support say "Go to item "a" in menu "b"". You quickly find that in your version, Item "a" has been renamed "c" and is now in menu "d". I also found weird things like the screen resolution auto-detect changed after version upgrades (2 monitor setup). And God help you if it decides to reset to a resolution where, by the grace of shitty design, essential controls to reset or return to previous resolution are completely inaccessible in the user interface or non-existent.

    well amen to that.

    My pc recently crashed.

Before the crash my CCC was allright and I could run arma2:OA as it should, without artifacts but after the crash I had to reinstall all my drivers and now my arma2 sometimes gives some artifacts (when you look in a direction you see meshes streched out without knowing where they come from)

  3. I made it this way to fit better to the M240 COAX, so an M1A2 which is shooting around with the M240COAX and the M2 dosen't sound like two vehicles are shooting, well its just fiting better to the M240C. But I know it has nothing to do with the real thing. And it shouldn't. I don't make here an real super duper realistic sound thing^^ Its just my opinion how it should sound like.

The old M2 sounds more bassy, don't fit at all in my ears.

    Jarhead

    ok :)
