Oh yes, guys... I actually tried a combination of the HARCP and JSRS mods together and it was just an A+ doubled. Everyone on here should give it a shot if you haven't already.it isn't compatible with OA..or is it?

It's the ingame environmental modules and a Area fog script, plus a color tint.you can download the mission in the info of that vid for a look at what i used.

I'll give this mod one thing, when bullets start landing around me, it makes me jump lol.well could you post a video of how it sounds?..because I think i can't get it to work :-/

K I finally got the time to test it briefly and it already sounds very promising.
As I myself can't make a mod..all I can say is keep it up!

Since this is probably most pertinent to those that would be using these topics I'll post a minor warning that I've suffered from as of late, just in case anyone else gets it:It appears that one of the adverts on imageshack.us can at times install a fake virus scanner malware called "Anti vir solution pro"; be rest assured this is in no way an actual virus program, the warnings it creates are false and it is an insidiously annoying program. To avoid it you're best of running an adblocker when using imageshack.us
If you're unfortunate as I was and catch the bug, the method for removal is as follows:
-Restart computer in safe mode
-Open internet explorer, Options > Connection Options > LAN settings> Uncheck the "use proxy server" box
-Run a program like Malwarebyte's Anti Malware Scanner to remove it (do a search for it)

Short answer: 2 and a half years of photography and media technology course ;)
Long answer:
-> As far as post processing goes in Photoshop I have a general template that I work with consisting of the following:
-Three levels adjustment layers of various shades of dark that I then use with masks to make certain areas of texture and shadow appear darker
-A solid black layer which I make into a vignette using a mask and gradient tool
-A colour balance layer I apply to the whole image that pushes cyan-ey green in the shadows and orange in the highlights
-Another colour balance layer that I apply just to the areas of sky in the image (using a layer mask) that pushes cyan-ey blue more
-A channel mixer adjustment layer set to monochrome with a lowish opacity that I use to get a bleach bypass look
-An exposure adjustment layer that slightly lowers the exposure and contrast of the image
-A tinted colour fill over the top to give a slight yellow-ey brown look to the dark areas
For shots with depth of field, depth maps were manually made using layer masks and gradient tool, and then the Lens Blur filter was used
On top of this I photoshop out game UI elements.
In game I use medium-high ish graphics settings (I am still playing the operation, despite the occasional photo moments)
When taking photos I take the same compositional thought and eye into account as I do when taking real photos
As to the situations, that's just down to a fun group and good mission making, all the events that you see here happened in one night's game and were played out, no staging, and I wasn't even there for the end.

I've noticed that mod makers don't always follow my unsolicited instructions. I'll have to do something about that. ;)I hope you know what I mean?

Guys I think the creator needs some time.
It's his mod and by the looks of it you are, maybe without you even knowing, forcing him to use these sounds instead of the ones he wants.
Try suggesting it more than ordering him to use it.

ok i've done a little battle against some takis...the incoming fire sounds good but in my opinion it misses this:
Go to 1:02..from there on listen..
It's not about the A-10's gun but the cracks from incoming fire.
A snap-like sound.

thank you..I created them by putting a firework explosion in front of another "normal" explosion..really simple.
It's just to give the creator an idea of what it could be.
Make sure to,when you make a video with these sounds, post it here

jarhead..tested it briefly and I must say--> BIG improvement.
The cracks or spot on in my opinion.
I litterally dived into the ground when I heard a bullet flying past my head..please keep this cracks the way they are now.
You deserve some more attention for this mod!
