  1. LOL Im so glad you did this. Its something I've played around with sense Ive been using high command. Becuase I lack alot of scripting knowledge Ive been opting out with DAC. Which is also AWESOME.lol Now Ive kinda sorta combined them in missions. So far its working pretty good. Just have to turn off the waypoints in the zone. I have a request though. Could you give examples of say like how do we use debug? or some of the other commands. Like I havnt tried yet but I was going to put it in a trigger and on act put "RydHQ_Debug = true". This may work fixin to find out, but what of some of the other commands in the pdf? Thanks :-) PS: that didnt work lol ohh and by the way also using Blakes_AI_FO_v0_1a works good with this as well. One more question. Do you think in future releases you can put something in there for support. ex: Ive got a support team with an ambulance. I knew it wouldnt work but never know till you try. I tried it and it used them as scouts ;) :-) Seriously great job!!!! :-) with tons of potential.

    Thanks for the response granQ. As for realism. There are other mods and ways you can make it a bit more realistic in the editor. ;) This is pretty cool and yes leave the base as is ;) And it works real well with DAC.

    lol well I think my problem is... I have 2 EBS one names eps and one named ebs.... The eps one is the one that spawns everything even though I tell it not to. As for setting it up yes it is cake, and so was the other one I liked at 1st. If its ok to say it was wict. Now I just use DAC which has always been awesome just lacks use of airpower and the artillery system is ok but doesnt utilize the new Arma2 Arty systems... lol I can be picky butttt other then this I have noooo complaints about Dac. Wict started good and got to complicated. So I left it and went back to Dac. Nowww This works pretty good with Dac. What Im shooting for is Marines vs Racs on chernarus Im going to use this to spawn random Air flight for Racs and ACM for Marines airpower I guess. lol :) Anyways It is cake and I love it. Maybe I should explain. I need more simple advanced ways to mod in the editor or by script to get it my way. Like in ACM I can tell it what I want as for what types of units, and the ratio of spawn among other stuff. The draw back is lack of custom units. :( As for it not spawning after the unit is killed... Thats actually a good thing. Gives the player insentive to seek out the HQ or base of Op and kill or destroy it. ;) Thanks for your response. :) P.S. ummm lol had one of the variables spelled wrong seems to work now. :D Ummm 1 last question It spawns parachutes.... Is the anyway to stop this without eliminating planes all together? :)

    Hi GranQ great idea. This is going to be very awesome. Please dont make it as complicated as the others. One came out and it was similer to this. Well he kept adding and addind to the point it was so complicated it took so much work to get it where you wanted it it was no longer fun. :) That beeing said in What is the 1st false for, and what is the 2nd true for? Ive placed this in the editor and named it ebs... It doesnt seem to work. It takes longer to spawn but even though I have this on everything tanks, apc, infantry.... except helecopter and planes as I just want air support for the racs and marines. It still spawns HMMVees and other stuff. This is exactly what I have in my init of the EBS mudoled that I named ebs, and yes I put ebs in the name slot. ;) Thanks for this anddd thanks for any help you can offer :) I give ya 2 thumbs up for this. Maybe If you can explain it more we can make an instruction page for dummies. :)
  5. thanks for the reply :) tried that but it doesnt work in my script. I think its not working becuase of the bis spawn group function. just wondering if anyone has figured a way around. OMG I found the obvious!!!!!!! check it out!!!! I didnt know vehicles worked in there!!!!!! LOL but yeeehawwww it fixed it!!! :D
  6. I'm stuck! :( Im trying to call in this as air support through trigger. Now it deletes the pilots and planes crash, but I cant for the life of me get the planes to delete. I just want them to fly around for a bit and then delete after a minute or two making them availible again to recall when needed. Can anybody help me get unstuck? P.S I know sleep 4 is not long at all. Its that short for testing purposes. ;) lol
  7. ok For anyone interested this is a Wict on Chernarus http://www.mediafire.com/?2uhds0n7eedt9qj Its by all means not perfect, but its working. Ive also got it set with ACM working CAS air units on both sides, with WICT working ground and helo's. ECHO's artillery system is on there but not working as of yet. I have 2 unarmed soldier one for each side so you can watch the battle rage and look at each sides battle lines evolve. ;)
  8. Thanks for replying Armaholic. :) As for the pool thing it may not double it, butttttt Im thinking you would have to rewrite alot to keep it that way.... Sooo probably better just to leave it as is. As for the artillery I miss understood what you said. It was one of the parts I scimmed through. But basically I thought you was going to implement something in WICT for it. But its ok as is. :) WICT is pretty powerful, and its jammed up awesome combined with DAC and ACM. ;) Thanks for the hard work!

    Not sure if someone pointed this out. But Iwas standing on the hill at the port on Utes. a LAV drove on the road just below me. The sound was coming in and out like he was driving and stopping, but he wasnt. Andddd On this hill before all the baddies and goodies spawned I heard what sounded like someone walking on the road Over and over and over again. lol But this is with head sets on, and the sound pretty high Im sure it wouldnt be heard on my speakers. :) anyways just trying to help with what little I can. Everything else is out of this world!!!! ;)
  10. This is funny becuase when I was editing the user configs this morning I was thinking "I wish this had pools like in DAC." Yeh pools would make it a bit easier. ;) That way I have more options in making missions and less editing. ;) But that beeing said it took me a few weeks before WICT grew on me, but now that I am figuring this think out! :cc: That beeing said yes I understand learning curves. Its ok as is. but if you do figure it out, or if I do I'll let ya know. :D I do have something that I need to ask/ or point out. It could be my fault, but Im really not sure. Ive got it set up to do the transports. Ive noticed just sitting back and watching the bullets fly that the Trucks,Helo's, and anyother transport doesnt seem to drop off infantry. Is it something Im missing? Ohhh an by the way Artillery would be a great addition ;) also in the user settings maybe a seperate folder for AA (Anti-Air) would be nice, or can I do this on my own?   12. Yeh I was needing to add some script to his init. So I wouldnt need _TL = _units select 0; at all? That beeing said. LOL Just curious as Im still not well versed in coding, but would _TL = _units select 0; select the Team Leader of that team? PS. As usual Your wealth of knowledge is very appreciated.   13. Could somebody break this new artillery thing down cuase no matter where I click on the map it says cannot execute. Ive tried mortars, m119 and grouped it with a rifleman. What Am I doing wrong?? I finally seen the circles but on the close range is bigger then all Takistan. :( OK So as me playing the mortar I can fire it, but I cannot order anyone to fire it.:(

  16. LOL yeh I forgot about that thing till later. Ive been editing these things bits and pieces sense OFP. I forget about the nice easier editors. lol Thanks sbsmac! :) That beeing said maybe you can add another option to enable CommandMode and keep the rest of the spacebar disabled. But if im the only guy that likes commandmode then I wouldnt bother.

    ummmmmm I think both those are 2 completly diffent files. one is pbo and the other is a config. But if the machine asked which one to keep then in my opinion yeh the newer one most likely is correct. JARHEADDDD!!!!!!! ty ty ty ty ty ty ty ty !!!!! lol I promise next time I want hold the gun to your head!!!! :dancehead: :681: I'll give her a go once I get some sleep under my belt. :D

    Dont they know that they could sell more if they improved on the atmosphere... as some of the modders have. Concept is good... but its not going to put you ahead of your competitors. If not for you guys Arma would disapeer. Anyways again just my opinion. :D Thanks for all the hard work. It is well apricitated cuase with yours and other mods the Arma series rocks @$$!!! ;)

    Jarhead Take all the time you need. This is an awesome mod. Its your mod. We are not paying customers. Though as good as it is... you probably could make money lol. I wonder if BIS has ever considered hireing some of you guys that come up with these mods. Ace, DAC, Sixsense, VOP, CSM..... I could list alot of talented modders in here. Cuase as much as I like Bis products.... well Arma series not sure bout the rest, but yeh the modders here seem to put out a better product for free for bis. But just my opinion. If I where Bis Id contemplate talking to a few of you guys. lol unless most of you work for them anyways. :D enough said.
