Well I was playing AAS the other day in ARMA 2, got shot & killed was laying face up waiting to revive and this guy comes over and procedes to T-Bag me. So after taking the T-bag like a man I decided to do some research & figure out where T bagging comes from, and came across this video on you tube.

:oh: :raisebrow:Core 2 Duo at 3.2Ghz and X1950pro. Playing at 1280x1024 and the game is barely playable with everything on LOW and postprocessing OFF. Getting into low 20's way often for my liking and sometimes even lower. How do you guys get the game to run smoothly on those machines is beyond me.
quite truthfully they dont, I dont care what they say I tried to play ARMA 2 on my x1600 and it was un playable even with everything on LOW:rolleyes:

P4 3.2ghz, x1650 pro with everything on normal beside PP 100% fillrate (Almost forgot, 1260x1024 on 19" that's important as well
hmm, thats kind of hard to believe, I had a x1600 as my first card and it was pretty shit tbh, until I upgraded to ATI 4850 I'd think the most you could run it on was all settings low PP/AF/AA off at best :rolleyes:

good initiative mate...would go for a more difficult (than BIS) flight model...to the point it would require a learning curve, and some training/experience to master.
I don't fly with mouse and keyboard (i know it is possible, even though i can't), i prefer not to fly at all if i forget to plug in my joystick...
note that all i have flown so far was FS series, as well as glider iRL.
I agree with this as well allthough I do fly with a mouse and keyboard, but I also use a joystick from time to time... I believe it should be much harder then it is now.

Yea its definitly a lot of fun, + it changes the scenery a little...and by that I mean it gets away from the type of modern warfare we're all accustomed to and focus's on the past warfare :D

I have one of the lowest dual core CPU's out there but I still game with out any problems with all settings on normal, Object Detail- Very High AA/AF/PP off. AMD 64 Athlon x2 2.0 GHz xp 32 bit 2 Gigs of RAM and a ATI MSI 4850.

Remove them from tanks maybe, but dont remove the radar from AA vechiles like the tunguska & avenger

about 2-3 FPS increase nothing drastic ATI 4850.

BRDM is like the easiest vechile in game to control. hit the number pad "Enter" on your keyboard to go third person if your having a hard time in first person

I played a russian Coop on this map, it was pretty cool, had no idea what they were saying tho cause it was all in russian lol

Yes^^^ I believe there is a 1.0 - 1.4 installer
or you can do it the hard way and install all the patches
