set their waypoint behaviour to "careless", and copypaste this into the choppers init lines: This is the closest they can come to suicidal. Btw this should be moved to "Mission editing and scripting". Ask a moderator to help you with that. And searching for "AI landing under fire" in that section would also have gotten you the same answer, and maybe even better ones. -
Battleye uses very little bandwidth compared to the core game. Easy fix, remove the kitchen laptop.

You should have used a more descriptive title, pretty sure a moderator will chime in and refer to the rule in question. But can you tell us what resolution settings you are using? that includes 3D resolution aswell. And how much of a difference is it between the two ingame islands. (Utes and Chernarus). Is Utes better performing? -
Well im pretty sure the big community sites like armaholic and armedassault.info wont host it. Which leaves torrents, and pretty much every pc-game can be downloaded via illegal torrents. How would the DLC be any different? And BIS can act according to the EULA.

Yep. We all know that BIS delivers top-notch content. Why not pay for that and support the developers? Some people have been burned by the DLC businessmodel of other firms, but those who have been around since OFP, knows that the free stuff that BIS has given us totally rawks. And think of how much more content BIS can provide if their PayDLC businessmodel is a success. We cant expect BIS to produce new content for Arma 2 in the future if they cant profit from it. But anyways, they have said that they will also release some free content aswell. So that should please some people.

Also note that we community members can still make missions with a story that includes religious fanatics and suicide bombers and people screaming Allah and blowing shit up. Its just that BIS, with their official content, would want to avoid the shitstorm, which is understandable. -

Pretty sure BIS will try to avoid suicide bombers, and religious fanatics(Pretty sure ive heard that BIS try to avoid portraying religion in the game, except for buildings.). While at the same time, mission makers can script it for their own missions.(And believe me, there will probably be alot of it in user made missions) -

AFAIK, Making animations without a studio and the weird suit with all those weird thingys strapped on it, would be a task of epic proportions. Every single tiny movement would have to be written in a text editor, instead of captioned(with that weird suit, what's the name?). And each single movement would be a monstrous wall of text. I dont think anyone would want to make animations in such a complex way, for such a tiny feature. So if BIS dont want to make animations, we'll have to live with it:shine: -

aaaah mothers, they do annoying things sometimes. Better confine her to the kitchen. Anywhoooo, is your game still installed? If not, then you are screwed :/ EDIT: by that i mean there is ways to find your cdkey on the computer, but only if it is installed. -

when you and the 2 AI form your own group, do you use the "[player,AI1,AI2] join examplegroup" command? If so, try to seperate them into two commands like: -

Yeah, they should be scaled down. With realistic values, one wouldnt have to take off from Vybor Airport to shoot down bogeys in an invasion scenario. Or you could team up with some island maker to make a very low detailed, huuuuuge map that(maybe just sea) is suited for dogfighting with your addon, where you can use realistic values, and keep playability. -

I find this poll to be unvalid. It is a poll about how happy you are with the game, posted in the "Troubleshooting" forum section, where those who usually have issues with the game hangs out. Sure ive experienced bugs, but i have never had the issue that the bugs have sucked the fun out of the game. But ive been brainwashed ever since OFP, so i am like one of those evil cult members that is happy all the time. -

i think he wants an AI to do it, which i have never succeeded in.(because the AI will try to move left and right and back, which wont work because the animation is somewhat incomplete in that regard) Try and look at how the SLX mod did it, i remember they have it working for AI, but i only briefly tried it. -
Maybe a little too many(7 planes and 2 choppers i think), the flare countermeasure script might be slowing the computer down, its alot to process. Ill see if i cant refine the script some more.

Have you tried the latest beta? Or first you can try to use -cpuCount=4 at the end of the startup parameter on the arma 2 shortcut. See if it helps, if not try the latest beta. There should be some fixes which gets rid of some of the problems you are experiencing.

My laptop runs pretty ok on 1024x768, most (non-cpu critical) settings on normal. All between 18-30 fps is good enough for me. And someone whined about chernarus being a bad design choice? Chernarus looks way more alive than takistan from the vids, and is the best island done by BIS except for Everon:P But all teh kool kids want desert warfare nowadays:P Specs: Acer Aspire 8920 Intel Core 2 duo 2,5ghz 4gb RAM Nvidia 9650M GS 512mb RAM Vista 32bit -
Yeah, atleast i am hoping for it to be easier to seperate the features. If i only want drag and carry to be available(without all of those other scripts running, causing bugs), it would be nice to just "flip a switch" scripting wise.

campaign is on hold until OA, hoping for a enhanced first aid module. But in the meantime i made a dogfight mission. See first post. EDIT: Dogfight mission might sound questionable. Lets call it a aircombat mission.
