  1. Thanks for the info. I'll try to incorporate these in the next campaign, but I can only use what's available to me. I don't make addons, but I'll look at some community made navy birds. The reason why sadly there is only three members on some missions is because the F.A.V. only has three seats. My second campaign is 50% complete and I'm proud to say that it's going to kick some ass. I've been researching some missions the seals have been tasked with and I'm making missions based on these. Hopefully someone will release some good Seal addons I can use. Thanks!

  5. 1. That is a problem with the game itself. I just assign them to the group leader. No special scripting or unit editing. Can you issue orders? If they are too far away you will have to order them to your location. Commonly mistaken for a bug. 2. I've tested these missions countless times and have never experienced the helo's not landing properly. If you are using mods such as SLX or anything that alters AI, you will get botched insertions. I'm using 1.4 steam version if that helps. Also in a game with such realistic AI, anything can and will happen. 3. Arma 2 has many bugs, and one of them being that you will experience trigger failure. It's rare, but does happen. This can screw up user made missions. If you've ever made a mission you will learn that no matter how perfect you make it, shit will still screw up occasionally. Hopefully this will be fixed in a patch. Save often. 4. Deff not a problem with my campaign, However I'm thinking it's a problem with the Island addon. Thanks for your info. I hope this helps. My new campaign hopefully will not have these problems.

Hmm i wonder if it ran out of fuel. Sorry about your woes. I put that trigger in to let players know that if something catastrophic happened to the extraction bird such as a random ai crash you wouldn't waist your time playing through the whole mission just to be left stranded. A good hint would be to make sure the area is clear before eliminating the last target or at least most of the threats. This way they don't take down the extraction bird. Also the mission starts at 1420, so you must have been playing a few hours before this happened. I'll look into the fuel issue with the helo's and see what I can find.

    Slx is good, but you can forget about helo insertions in hot zones. the added field of vision makes them go to defensive mode.
  9. As long as you unzipped it and placed it in your arma directory and added the proper @CBA command to the shortcut. The only reason I asj is because some one else was having this problem, and after realizing they installed CBA wrong it worked. Not saying you did this, but make sure it's been unzipped. Glad your enjoying the mission. That informant is well guarded.

  12. Yeah the next campaign is 50% done and in my opinion is definitely more improved. If you liked this one, the next one will be 10 stars. I think the reason why you could see the boss is because i made this campaign with the view distance all the way down. I'm spending a lot of time trying to make my next campaign flawless without these issues. Thanks for the feedback.

  14. I use SLX, but I removed the stuff I didn't like. I primarily use the unit animations and weapon sounds. The others really effect mission making for me in the sense that I want to make campaigns that are compatible to all users not just a specific game play mod such as SLX or ACE. You should remove anything that says AI. Here's some to remove. SLX_AI_TurnMove.pbo, SLX_AI_TurnMove.pbo, SLX_FindCover.pbo, SLX_GL3.pbo, SLX_Mod_Veh_Core.pbo. I be leave that's all.   15. That's so strange and awesome that something like this would happen. It just proves how the AI in this game is capable of anything. I assure you that there is no empty helo on that map. I guess the crew decided to chalk it up for day and land. I just replayed both the lite and the full version of this mission and I could not reproduce your conditions. Must be some weird glitch. Anyways looks like you might need to revert on this one. Sorry, but thanks for the screens. I bet 100% you try this without SLX and it won't happen. SLX gives pilots a greater field of vision thus making them stray off their task if they see the enemy.
  16. Okay I've got a few possibilities. You have cleared the HQ. Did the task complete? How did the extraction helicopter become empty? It's supposed to land and wait for you to get in. The trigger for the the HQ to be cleared also includes the surrounding area. Check the forest areas for any enemy. That town has about 10 infantry and 4 or 5 tanks with crew. Ive tested this campaign and it does work properly however there is once in awhile occasions when a trigger will bug out and not work. Try reverting to an earlier point and I bet it will work. Also about SLX, I'm glad you have found no problems however you may run into trouble on Operation Eagle Assist with the helo's not landing due to their increased field of vision tagging enemy in the far. My second Seal six campaign is in the making and I'm happy to say that it's way better than the first one. The first one is still good though.
  17. Are you using any AI changing mods such as SLX? Are to playing with 1.4? Make sure you have installed CBA correctly. I've found that certain mods will conflict with the insertions. I've never had the AI do this on Dead Kings, but I've heard of people with this problem.   18. Very Important Note SLX mod or any other mod that changes how the ai think will effect the way pilots drop and pick you up. This could cause you to either not be picked up or not dropped off. I like SLX mod, but i did not use it when making this campaign. My second campaign will be compatible. This is not a problem with SLX nor my campaign. They just weren't tested together. If you remove SLX_GL3.pbo from the slx mod it works. So it's up to you if you want try removing it.
  19. It's probably FFAA mod. Use the lite version. It excludes FFAA and little birds. It's hard to equip the Seals without using mods. You don't want a bunch of Force Recon guys pretending to be seals do ya. :) I will however keep this in mind for the second Seal campaign.
  20. The outfits change from mission to mission. I'm not using any other mods. The black one is in a later mission. As for your crash' date=' I'm not sure. Not everyone is getting this so it might be a conflict on your end. Make sure all your addons are in the right folders. Some people were getting weird CTD with FFAA. Something I never got. You could make a shortcut using just the mods my campaign need. If there is a dead enemy near by there will be a option to order them to pick up the weapon. Glad you killed him though. As for the wait problem. The kill box for the airport is big. So those pesky terrorist do a good job hiding. If the task is complete then move to the next objective. If not then do a search in Fast Forward. That usually bring them out of their hiding places. If this all doesn't work then it's probably the game not recognizing the trigger properly. I've had this happen on the first mission once. I was sure the enemy was not there, but it still would not end. After reverting to a save just before my assault it worked perfectly. Maybe he ran into a building i didn't check. I assure you that I've beat each mission multiple times to rid out any bugs. The last two are my favorite. I'm working on campaign 2 that will use less addons and I'm trying to make it run flawless. Thanks for playing guys!

  22. That sucks about your crash. If you guys want i will make them playable. Is that all it needs to be multiplayer? If so I'll do it for sure. I cant see why it would crash. If anybody as any ideas that would be great.
  23. It's definitely a conflict with another mod. Probably a weapon mod. Anyways it's used a few times in the later missions for a few supply locations with ammo crates. There's some awesome weapons in there that i feel work great with this campaign. I'll release a version with out FAA and Little birds.   24. Maybe its a problem with CBA. Try it with out and see what happens. I added only because I think it will be standard soon. All the other addons are objects so it couldn't possibly be one of them. I'm using 1.4 and I've never had this problem. Hope you guys get it going.
