I'm glad you like it. Sorry about the AI. Yes there are three missions that use Panthera. Seal Team Six 2 update! I would like to let everyone know that the second campaign is coming along amazingly. You guys are really gonna enjoy the next one. It features real recon missions, calling in air strikes, searching for intel, convoy ambushes, on rail weapon sequences, assassination, large scale assaults, and a lot more. I've also improved the way the story and missions are set up. I'm hoping to be finished with it in a week or two.

God I wish people would stop posting the same thread over and over. Download some user made stuff such as my campaign and have some fun. The funny thing about new buyers and Arma 2 is that they mostly play the campaign. If BI would have made a simple 10 mission campaign with straight forward objectives, most of the new buyers wouldn't be ranting about how much it is broken. The lag and crashing sucks, but 30 FPS in the campaign or online is awesome. -

Here ya go bro. This is a quick simple mission using the laser air strike and suplly drop. It's the best way to do it and works every time. 1. Use the radio to trigger the que. This will add either one air stike or one supply drop depending on which you select. 2. Then call in the air strike under the communication via the orders menu. You will here your player call it in. Then paint the target with your laser (not needed for supply drop). 3. Wait a minute then you will here the planes flyby. On there next pass, bombs away. I compare this games performance with that of an RTS. The more units you have on the map the less FPS you will get. I've started making campaigns that spawn enemy groups rather than have them all in place at start and the performance is awesome. I'm running on a Athlon x2 2.1 ghz. The campaign is deff not optimized. -
Buy the game then download my campaign or the other greatly scripted missions and have fun. Don't listen to the bug reporters. There is not one game that comes close to this. New players will often discourage buying it because they don't understand what this game is about. Here's another example. Insertions have to be miles away from the enemy so the pilot does not take defensive measures and abort landing. Who wants to spend the first part of the mission walking a few miles? Tried to work around this, but it just doesn't work. Many other missions and campaigns suffer from the same problem with SLX. If I make my campaign compatible with SLX who's to say it will be usable with ACE when it comes out and so on. Mission makers will have to choose there platform to mod from and I think that creates confusion. I think SLX is great, but this will deff become an issue quick with mission makers.

Another good example is insertions in hot zones. The pilot can see the enemy extremely far away making him stray off course even if he is set to never fire and careless. This made my Seal campaign unplayable with this mod. It's a great mod for multiplayer, but I believe BIS has there reasons for making the AI the way they did.

I understand your complain, however the team doesn't do well on the ship for some reason. I wanted to be the first mission maker to feature a battle on the ship. Also I really wanted to use the Seal addon, but it has a config error in the editor that was never fixed. I know a few people don't like the idea of one or three seals up against overwhelming odds, but if you had a eight man team it would just be to easy. The fun come from figuring out how to use the little resources you have to best complete the objective. Something Seals do best. Also those are my favorite movies;)

The way things are going don't be surprised if Arma 2 and Arrow head are the last true war sims. Console will kill all games including world of warcraft. Ps I want to live my life thinking that Arma 2 is OFP, so lets not talk about the un mod-able piece that the other game is. I've been banned from codemaster forums just for saying I disliked the game, no bad langauge or bashing peers was used. They just want to erase anyone that thinks the game is not what it should have been so people keep buying it. If Bohemia asked me for 200$ for Operation Arrowhead for PC, they would get every penny. When I was in Iraq Arma kept me going for months and never lost it's charm. Best money ever spent!!

Oh yeah bro, definitely the SLX and AI effecting mods. If you remove any ai changing Pbos from slx you can still use it. This is the way it is with all custom made missions. If you remove those AI changing mods you will have no problems.

No it's after olsha. The main base should be on your map after clearing olsha. I'm sorry about the chopper going down. I've heard that the chopper can fly for three hours on a full tank so i don't think this is a problem. I assure you that I've played this mission over and over and have not had this happen. You could use the skip mission cheat. You pretty much beat it already. I put that helo pretty far away from any threats and gave it a fly in height well over the tree line. I'm going to rework my first campaign after i complete the second one. Hopefully i can fix all these issues the next time around. Don't worry about the next one, I've been putting a lot of time into bug proofing it.

The problem with realistic missions is there over to quick. I primarily made this campaign for myself, and i wanted it to last a long time with lots of gun play. I was also trying to recreate the fun I had playing Socom on the PS2. I've got some recon/stealth missions in the works for campaign 2, but there is still gonna be alot of action involved. This campaing is no way a simulator of Seal work, but more of a get your rocks off with arma 2 and have some fun. ---------- Post added at 02:32 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:27 PM ---------- I've narrowed down the addons list for the next campaigns, but one thing you'll learn is that addons are a must for most future products. Don't be afraid of addons. They make this game amazing. Do you want to play my seal campaign as a marine? You need new unit such as the Mer's and the FAV to fully feel like you are a SEAL. There is trigger that will tell you. I made the mistake of putting ordnance crates instead of launchers. Just demo them and your done. Has anybody beaten the campaign yet??

Yeah, it was my first campaign and I've learned a lot from what people tell me. I'm about 50% done with the next one and I'm hoping it only uses three. I do however believe that most new Arma 2 players need to learn how to properly use addons to get most out of the game.

Maybe one of your addons is not installed properly. I've not had this complain yet. I would double check everything.
