lets hope the author of the ArmA1 mod is working on a port for ArmA2 ... because that sounds really scare the crap outta me :D

Games like WoW and EVE and so on, ruin the Gaming-Community and Computergames generally.
I would like to go back to the old days when there were GOOD, BUGFREE Games, because noone cared about deadlines and such friggin shit.
The games done when its done!!!! Thats the real thing and noone would copy a game done with that attitude. Because they normally just ROCK!
Keep it up BI, dont let yourself get eaten by big publishers again, you WILL be repaid by your community.

Who is flaming ArmA2? Im playing it since 1.0 without major problems ... had about 3-4 crashes in about 100hours of playing ...

try posting it into Featuretracker, because its very unbalanced atm in original game.

I am modding myself. And YES ... the Game is already about 90% to my likes, so theres only a few things im changing, trying to change right now.
And i did not say it was easy, but it is the Holy Grail indeed, if you can manage it!
I'm playing and modding with this Engine since OFP.
So i think i can tell new people, the cool and fantastic probabilities that will open to someone who starts Mapmaking/Modding/Missionmaking.
Im spending 2/3 of my ArmAII time in Editor or Weaponry just testing and altering.
If you have no better reply for a new guy, then you should just shut ur face :)

Bro you should work yourself into ArmAII Modding.
You can change nearly EVERYTHING in this Game to your likes.
I think the Devs have a lot of other problems to engage atm.
But if you have time and passion, go ahead and read the tons of tutorials regarding scripts, functions, modelling and so on.
Then you may be able to change certain things to be more realistic.
But keep in mind that this is afterall a Game and you want to have fun with it.
Changing too much into realism will surely degrade the funlevel, although i pledge for realism in FPS too.
There are a few things (like SMAW reload time, rocket inventory space etc.) wich are definitly not realistic, but as i said, those things can be changed and presented in a Mod/Map. If you decide to make something like that, i bet there are a lot of guys who help you Betatesting and gathering ideas :) (like me^^)
But i dont think Devs should worry about more realism.

Depends on in which order you load them. The one loaded last will overwrite the other.You answered well according to your name :P

This is my Commandline, and as u can see SOW is loaded first^^
But nevertheless im going to deactivate SOW, i think. Because those Sounds are maybe very cool, but not realistic. As you can see/listen to in every youtube vid with real gunfire :)

I tested VOP and SOW now at the same time. And it seems SOW overwrites VOPSound whereever it is possible.
I will do a larger test later, to find out what is overwritten exactly ...

Please delete the Ammoboxes in the Radar-Camp in your Base ...
at least in the Ranked Version because u can get SMAWs, ACOG, Jav etc. there loooong before u shud ...
Please add a Notification if VEHICLES enter you Base ... atm its only if it is Infantry but those Tanks keep destroying one or more Buildings of the Base b4 we can even react.
Add Revive to Ranked Version :D
or make a Hardcore Version, where it is Ranked + Revive + more Enemyrespawn :D
Increase Vehicle Respawn in Towns 3 - End ...
After everyone got a SMAW in late First or early Second Town, those Tanks wont last long ...
Ah yea before i forget: NICE MAP :D
We all love it in our Clan, and play it nearly on a daily base :)
