Seriously? So I assume you are using SNKMAN's code anyway? Despite the fact he doesn't want it reused? At least remove his code from your port... or someone might say that you have violated his intellectual property rights too? I know you might not you feel this is a big thing Zorro, but you are setting a precedent here. I don't think anyone is outraged by this port :confused: -

Look in alive.log and arma2net.log Make sure your server IP matches what is in WarRoom. Also ensure you follow the server setup instructions carefully (in the WarRoom server settings page) -

Most likely your IP doesn't match what's in ALiVE WarRoom. Check alive.log to see what the plugin is reporting. Also, there is a bug there which we shall fix. It should not error if you can't connect to the DB. -

Not being a party pooper here, but Zorrobyte, regardless of your personal opinions on copyright, open source and community modding, you need to respect the wishes of the GL4 author. You didn't get permission to port GL4 from A2 to A3. The EULA was explicit in that you do not have permission to do so. Just because SNKMAN is no longer around does not give you permission to take his work and publish it. Dwarden is not the author of GL4 and doesn't have the right to give you permission to publish someone else's work. You do have permission from KeyCat to port GL2 (and assuming he had permission from Toadlife). The "proper" thing to do here is to fork GL2, port it to A3 and then use your coding skills :) to plug the gap between GL2 and what you feel is equivalent GL4 features. -

You may have downloaded it, but it is not what arma is using. That download does not have the mysql plugin in it... Looks like you accidentally used the old version. Tup -

You may want to download the correct version of arma2net from the Server Edit page. Please follow the instructions, there is a CUSTOM download of arma2net on that page that is required. Cheers Tup -

Only one group can register a specific server. We do support tvt though as players will have their data registered to their group. You can register a group and play on another alive registered server. This is still wip and we can't guarantee how this impacts stats atm -

Ugh sorry to hear that. Hope that does not impact shipping the campaign and island updates for tomorrow. Clearly compatibility with the script command system is important.

Very cool Ax! We're doing live map updates to a web based app with ALiVE. Its still WIP, but people will see it come together once we launch the ALiVE War Room... soon :) Closed testers can vouch for War Room already as its been tested now for a month or two. If there are any budding c# developers out there that are interested in external apps/devices, we'd love to work with you!

We will have element of ambient features in our civ module, but we want to get the enemy and persistence stuff done first. -
All, For a while it was believed that serverCommand had been disabled since OA 1.59. However, in Arma 3, this command now works when called from the in game debug console (as an admin). In fact, it works when calling a script or compiled function from the debug console as well. It doesn't work if you simply call serverCommand from a script (that hasn't been called by the debug console). I don't see anything special about the debug console in BIS configs or scripting. Anyone have any ideas how we could possibly do this from script without the debug console? This was tested on a local dedi setup.
