    Could it be that directx 11 with windows 7 is fixing the issue?

    I have XP with 4850 and I get massive screen corruption when in an area with lots of objects such as a town like most people.

    I thought Directx 10 and 11 were for vista/windows 7 only, but if you search "directx 11 XP" on google, some links for Directx 11 XP come up.

    Does anyone know if these files are legitimate or if Directx even has anything to do with this?

    Yep. Oden Warfare is my current favorite at the moment. It's great that the artillery is working, but it would be even more great if you were able to purchase aircraft at the airfield and build all the other buildings listed in the manual like the UAV terminal or air radar.

    By the way, how did you turn on all towns? I was able to do that but I had to change one of the SQF files and I am not sure if everything worked properly when I did that.

    The other thing you can do is watch for Warfare missions made by other people. There is one I know of I think called "WarfareV2_016Lite.Chernarus" that has some of the other structures enabled along with being able to choose the crew of vehicles. The only downside is that the AI commander does not work in SP although I may be wrong on this one. If you want to get it I think the only way to get it is by downloading it off a MP server.

    It's weird though that all of this is in the manual but is not in game, and also that most if not all of the coding for these features to work are already somewhere in the Arma files.

    It happens to me to but only on chenarus Warfare (like Superpowers) about 3 hours into a game and it gets so bad you have to wait for 2-3 minutes just for the menu to load.

    I haven't seen this happen yet during MP though yet. Maybe it's with all of the AI during late game.:confused:

    Oh and thanks phil545 for telling how to make the menu load instantly. It makes my late game playable! :)

    Yeah, I would like to be able to buy empty vehicles to. Even in the manual it says you can choose the crew when purchasing a vehicle, along with being able to buy Arty radar, Uav terminals and fixed wing aircraft.

    Hopefully in one of the upcomming patches they will finally add some of these things in.

    Ok I found it!

    Before when I was looking I couldn't find local settings but I could find application data. I guess there is more than one application data folder. And before I must have somehow "missed" local settings.

    But it's weird because I did a search for the file name and only the empty folder came up, not the one under local settings.

    I don't know if it matters but in one of the windows updates it archieved or indexed everything and now when I search for something it finds it instantly. Maybe for some reason the file wasn't archieved. I am just guessing because I don't understand how it works exactly.

    Anyways, I really appreacitate the fast help I got, even though the files were right where they should have been the whole time and If I looked extra carefully I could have found them.:bounce3:

    Well, the title says it all. I searched the forms first but didn't I find anything.

    I can search for the mission name and the only thing that shows up is an empty folder in arma2 other profiles/profile name/saved/mpmissions/mission name. Show hidden files and folders is also on.

    Also for some reason I don't have a Application Data/ArmA 2/MPMissionsCache folder.

    I don't know if it matters but I have windows XP home edition.

    I'd appreaciate any help. :)

    I also looked at http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=77683 but I still can't figure it out.
