Love the addon, great work so far. I had an idea, obviously i don't do addon building but thought you might be able to shed light on its possibility. With ACE you know how you can attach sadbags to vehicles? Would it be possible to have something similar where if you enter the back of the merlin and use the sit down key to get locked onto it. Or alternatively you can sit down on an individual chair and hop out back into the cargo area? Would love to see more use of getting in and out of it manually. -

3rd party opinion which is up to you to think about or not, if "for now..." means your going to be introducing your own weapons pack, if you have the AAW permission to include their weapons i would keep it, otherwise if whatever weapon pack doesn't surpass that off AAW's quality and functionality, no one will use it and just download the AAW weapons and INF instead.

Just some feedback from some guys, if your releasing an island, can you please release the island without all the extra units, otherwise it's technically not an island and more a mod. Keep up the good work

Wasn't sure about SLI, just what i heard, but i do know that unless they have updated it, it only supports dual core processors until AO

Is there a way how you could treat it like a chem light from ace but with very low brightness? Just thinking by doing that you could get the circle that appears at a distance, somewhat simulating the patch? Anyway as all have said great work. -

I've been working on a modification to the Aiaktalik map using the objects from the old Afghan Village. So far i have built 3 Hamlets and 3 Farm/Villages in the map. I will be doing some beta testing this weekend to see what is needed of fixed and hopefully release next week. Ahhh but here's the trick my concerned friend, if you cannot interact with the building in anyway (cant enter it/no ladders) then it's generated client side, as to reduce the effects on the server. -

I understand Vics point, when making some hamlet and towns on Aiaktalik, problem with building them is you don't want to have it so structured that its just a grid. Link compunds and buildings together by making them traverse through another building or on a roof to get there. Have vantage/strategic points that are hard to hold but offer a great base of fire position. Think about fire and maneuver and model rubble or debris accordingly. -

Yeah i'd love to add some random objects, but in the end this is a SQM/SQF file, so i would like to keep it minimal as possible, just need to finish off some mountain paths and the FOB/FARP, then if it's still in good size ill add random clutter. It'll come with the framework for the hamlets and a sample mission which will help you explore the different places now added (under fire though). As for the market place, i was thinking of making a patrol base next to the main town connected via a market place and some farm fields, but as i said, once the base is down then i can work on the rest. -

In between filming done by A6, expect the actual video in the day or so. This town will be continuously worked on till it accommodates the larger portion of that field. If I'm ever bothered I'll ask for the permissions and modify the map (not for a while), but for now we were just doing some filming and the terrains fine as is. And yeah we should have a little fun video we made up tomorrow or so of some guys arrests a weapons dealer in a now Taliban prison. -

Quick and honest question, why are you duplicating features and mods already in the community? I'm not sure if your aware of the redundancy with multiple mods in the arma community, but your going to lose people if all your doign is duplicating efforts. EG: Weight system Radio Mod Ambient Civilians AAS (Advance and Secure) Medical/Wounding System Stamina System All these are currently available, and im sure whoever made them would be happy to assist you by lending you the functions. Big issue with the radio equipment, why create a separate system from one thats there that is already a sort of community standard? Have a look at what the community use's already otherwise your going to get people not wanting to use PR when they already have ACE, it will just be a new map with game modes.
