  1. So this does work on stable? I've been running 1.22 still because I like this mod so much..
  2. I'm not getting any function out of the "Join" button, I try clicking it, then the unit I want to join, then I click the player and nothing happens. I've tried dragging like in the 2d editor, etc and can't figure out why it isn't work?

    I haven't got the chance to test the new AI, would you mind doing a brief explanation of how to tweak the configs so that I could mess with them a bit to optimize ammo consumption with suppression? I don't know how possible this would be, but a system that forces AI assistant autoriflemen to supply ammo to their gunners, or just increasing the time between bursts could also remedy some of these issues.

    I love the idea behind the changes but I just dunno about some of them. The AI simply don't have the ammo to shoot the machine guns as long as you have them shooting. Their ammo is depleted in the first minutes of contact.

    Good initiative, terrible execution by BI. Sorry, this far into the game's life it is unacceptable to introduce updates that break so many mods, especially with no real tangible benefits. Who the fuck needs a tutorial anymore? The game has been out long enough. What about the mods that aren't as popular or aren't being updated anymore? So now we just can't use them because of a stupid goddamn tutorial update? Tight.

    I didn't get many errors. Most it was explosions would have two plumes. One was the correct one and the other a perfectly vertical one.

    Well its not like most missions have constant barrages of JDAMs. Thats all that needs scaling up IMO. More so a BIS issue than anything. OS did a great job with A2, I actually ran the A2 version today to test and it almost works.

    Another big, I think 1.22 broke your mod OS. After a JDAM hits the debris particles last a couple of seconds and then abruptly disappear. Running on high particle settings with CBA updated. If you do anything with the next build, I think the most important is getting bigger explosions out of aircraft bombs and longer lasting debris clouds out of them. They've always seemed like the most underwhelming part of the game.

    This is awesome. One suggestion is to make the mushroom cloud linger a longer. The problem with the A2 version of this was that it never dispersed at all, so it's good that this script actually ends.. Cool stuff man.

    Yeah I really need to get another SSD. I thought 120gigs would be enough for Arma 3, Windows 7 and assorted media. God I was wrong.

    Not sure if it's Blastcore related, but the BLUFOR MBT's main cannon ammo doesn't explode on impact anymore (using HE's)

    This would be great in addon form, I honestly wouldn't even know where to start with configuring this for 3rd party aircraft and weapons, or for example aircraft armed with weapons found on opposite faction's aircraft.

    Sorry, what I meant was for a human player in command of AI, with no other human players. Similar to how "transport unload" will force you out of the vehicle. I'm having issues with the action menu not working unless you select the action immediately after it pops up. Norrins' old fast rope script did essentially what I'm asking about. In SP if the player is in command of AI he is automatically forced to fastrope and the AI follow.

    My only remaining suggestion is to provide an option so that no action menu prompt is required for human players to fast rope if there is an AI pilot.

    That's awesome! In the next version if you could make a variable that forces all non-crewmembers to fast rope without an action menu dialogue that would make things even easier.

    Would it be possible to change it so that instead of an action menu prompt, it just automatically ejects the player? I figured out the problem and it fails mostly because of that action menu prompt. On approach to the LZ you must press it early, otherwise it will ignore you and not lrt you repel if you try it 3 seconds later.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Okay, so I had to do a work around to get anything working here. But STILL with an AI pilot the player cannot fastrope out of the helicopter, I'm using the MH-47E here. It's amazing because I tested it earlier and it DID eject me automatically when trying this on flat ground. So in 4 hours I finally have everything, but the player... great. I think it's possible that you have the mod set so that above 100m above sea level that the player cannot use the action. The map I'm playing on has me at over 1200m in elevation, but the chopper reading is only like 10 above terrain on the altimeter

    I saw someone who made an "operation redwings" mission on the steam workshop and immediately knew that Altis couldn't possibly recreate it. I'm doing it on CLAfghan and it involves an MH-47 fast roping the SR team onto a mountain ridge with lots of trees. The given script demands that the chopper flies too low, it crashes into the tops of the trees and crashes. I need another 5 or 10 meters of altitude.

    The pedals are borderline non-responsive. Every other chopper gives a bit of play with them.

    Is it at all possible to set the script for AI to fastrope from a higher altitude? The current default is not nearly enough when using the MH-47

    Is anyone else having issues with the pedals? Once you get accelerating you cannot move left or right at all. I know that speed limits the input, but it straight up does not work.
