  1. I managed to get this problem by dropping the video memory usage in the option menu to default, putting it up to high made it go away again. Other settings where on high or very high. This is with a 4890 with 9.6 drivers. Interestingly no rebooting or restarting was needed, I could make it come and go at will. Would seem to support the theory that when video memory gets full things get funky.
