As for our recent one off downtime period... our datacentre had problems. our kit was all fine. we effectively coordinated the repair from BT (fibre provider).
As for why we could email our customers. this is the first time we have ever had such a bad problem. All of our databases/emails didnt work as they couldn't connect to the internet. As for people messaging me on facebook.
Face book emails to say you have a message - i had no emaisl.
I really didnt have time to login to facebook.
i was unable to answer my phone for most of the period as i was on the phone to BT and our london dc to get the problem fixed.
As soon as service was resumed we emailed everyone. We will also send a detailed email of the problem and ways we will stop this from happening again!
We really do try to offer the best possible service we can.
As for ArmA2 we have lots of trained staff to help with problems.
We generally reply to most tickets with either a fix or request for extra info within the hour!
