  1. nice work the main problem was third mission which player is able to use ka-50 and that jet fighter in the iarport I don't know you did it beware or not.

    It's been a long time so I don't remember exactly that mission.

    Mission making is more like a practice homework for me, so I learn each release and try to improve on the next release.

    Problem is, I'm in Laos now and won't get back to things Arma for another month or two.

    Please feel free to play my other campaigns and comment. I really need to see the bugs and mistakes I've made in order to improve.


  2. I actually enjoyed being a machine gunner for a change.

    I usually kept to the back like a marksman would and had fun picking off enemies from afar.

    For house searches, one should be using a sidearm anyways.

    You may want to BOLD the 1.62 requirement and warn players "Not tested with 1.63" in your first post.

  3. Hi, you've been a great help in my early mission making days and I've been a big fan of yours.

    I agree with nettrucker and tom3kb.

    Roll it back to 1.62 version and pump that bad boy out.

    From here on out, keep any future A2 work as 1.62.

    I just don't see much happening with 1.63 in the future, but you never know.

    Consider also moving on to A3.

    Like tom3kb, I have A3 but am waiting for more mods and camps to come out.

    I've also played the same ones he has and they are damn fine.


  4. But you're knocking in a half open door: I always love resistance side since OFP Resistance. It's hard, but much more romantic than east or west. :) So before BIS campaign was released I planned to create a greek campaign. But when the BIS campaign was released, it was almost the same story (but on AAF side) what I planned: a regular greek army try to defend altis: slow down the CSAT assault, but always retreat. (it's 3-4 missions) And when Altis lost and CSAT won the battle, regular soldiers turn into guerillas and fight against the invaders. (it's also 3-4 mission) And finally NATO decided to land on Altis, then greek guerillas join to NATO and fight next to american soldiers with american equipment and they assault and win. (It's 4-5 mission).

    All my missions and Campaign are either Opfor or Independents.

    Last few missions were focused on Illegal CIA operations.

  5. Hey Bardosy,

    There is a possibility to create another campaign from this camp.

    All you need to do is this time make it on the side of the Independents.

    You've already got all the units placed done on the maps. Just reverse the story.

    Naturally the Greeks have to lose this campaign, but it can still be a campaign from their side of the story.

    You only need to delete the SUCCESS triggers for Opfor and then create SUCCESS triggers for IND.

    Let's take the first mission for example:

    Have a team of Greeks defending FERES.

    Then use a trigger like:

    Independent not present

    !alive _units >10...............or something like this.

    Then new way-point appears with new mission orders to RETREAT to the airport.

    Have team arrive arrive at airport SUCCESS, then battle at airport.

    Same trigger of !alive _units > 10, then another new way-point RETREAT to Selakeno.

    Team retreats to Selakeno and fights again. They are of course over whelmed each and every time, but lastly, they retreat again and, mission SUCCESS and END.

    You can do this for all the missions.............

    Fight, retreat, fight retreat, fight retreat..............

    Just an idea of-course. The Greeks have to be defeated in the camp.

  6. You may also consider this:

    Throughout the history of the military, promiscuous homosexuality was rampant. That includes the Greeks, Romans and Japanese Samurai.

    So that being the case (and fact!) and your mission is full of hunky muscle men all squeezed together in a small camp that they can't help but "bump" into each other,

    you could create one of those metal containers/bunkers you have used for sleeping in, as a "Pretty Pink Party Hearty Hub" for the men to get together for frolicking.

    Also, a homosexual relationship that develops between your hero and his Greek side-kick.

    Should be an interesting mission indeed!

  8. You should add this into an "Installation" paragraph on the first post. I had the same problem, placing the mission in the editor save directory and running it from the editor is not something 99% of players would think of.

    But what he said here is very important. NO ONE is going to think nor know to put it in the editor and save it.

    And what does that mean exactly? Do I have to play it in the editor or after saving it, I can place the missions in my missions folder?

    You still have not put any directions/instructions in the first post for your thread.

    It's just as "staggeringly simple" to put instructions on you first post as it is for him (neofit) to place a unit on the editor.

    LOS is disabled by default, that's why it shows red.

    I downloaded and ran the latest Whole lotta altis with TPW MODS and it all ran fine for me. Sorry this isn't much help.

    I seem to have got it working. It was like..................................MAGIC!!

    I did this before and tonight did it again, put the glasses on and off and on and off.............this time it kicked in. Don't know how.

    Maybe it was.........................................................................MAGIC!

  10. I play with activated "TPW Hud" which i have adjusted to see Hostile up to 3000meters.

    I must say I do to. I have just recently wrote up in TPW's thread that I am having problems getting it to work in WLA.

    I works in all other missions I play, but not this one.

    Well, to be fair, it did up to last week.

    Both are using LOS (SaOk and TPW) so, could be a conflict. As to whether it's separate or related, I have no idea.

    Question is, how in earth did you get yours to work?

    No in-game message on right top of screen:

    TPW HUD incorrect/no config now exiting.....???

    Then stays there through out the game.

  11. Well, it looks like you answered your own question here. The Whole Lotta Altis mission by SaOk has some element that must be conflicting with the TPW HUD. But I didn't see anything about "tactical glasses" listed in in SaOk's mission description or list of mods. So I'm not sure what element of SaOk's mission is conflicting with the TPW HUD.

    I believe he (SaOK) uses LOS in his version/mission.

    Also, I noticed that the LOS was not active, meaning RED when I first downloaded it. Found that a bit odd. Don't know why that was.

    Observed that twice actually.

    I did get it to work with WLA first time I enquired about HUD, but for some reason, not working anymore in latest updates.


    It DOES work with other missions.

    I'm not sure what's wrong, but the HUD works fine for me. Did you try going into the main ARMA3 menu, disabling the @TPW mod completely, then manually deleting the @TPW mod folder in your ARMA 3 directory, and finally downloading and installing the newest version of the @TPW mod? (Don't forget to re-enable the new @TPW mod in the main ARMA3 menu).

    Still not working.

    3 updates ago working. Just downloaded newest, installed TPW addon then put userconfig where it belongs, still getting in-game message:

    "TWP HUD incorrect/no config exiting"............then it stays like that the whole game play time.


    Have no idea what I am doing wrong.

    Tested with a few missions and seems to be working.

    BUT! Does not seem to be working with SaOk's mission WLA.

    I get this message only with his mission, which is what I am primarily playing at the moment.

    Just for confirmation:

    You're trying to say "Just a typing mistake. Of course I meant Zones and not "cones".


    Lastly, Is it absolutely necessary to find food, drink and medicine?

    Will it go against me if I don't?

    I try to use my imagination and that these guys have Health packs, Food rations and bottled water.

    If they can get trucks, armor and men to parachute in on order from the WLA menu, surely they could do that for food, drink and medicine?

    I understand if you wanted to make an apocalyptic mission like STALKER of FALLOUT but I don't think it necessary here.

    I usually just don't bother with those three.

    Of course, this is your mission.

  14. Just out of curiosity, I would love to see other players post pics of their camps and how much work they went into them.

    I'm wondering if maybe I am not doing enough for mine. I even see that you have furniture. I don't bother with that, but would be interested to see what camp set-ups other players have done.


    There is a mission to "Clear CSAT CONES........................" What do you mean by "cones"?

    I think there is a 2 km radius that I need to clear of tanks and AA so Greeks can come in, but not sure meaning of "cones".


    Enjoying the new works and full of action.

    Anybody playing this, I suggest you us TPW's HUD. Makes a world of difference.

  15. This is one hell of an action pack game.

    I really enjoyed this mission lots. The choppers you choose were great.

    The only problem, too short. I was enjoying myself too much.

    Please consider making this a bit more drawn out and longer. Maybe have the action start further away from the last part of the mission and action packed full of stuff as team

    makes its way to the last standing bad guys going from point to point, zig zagging up.

    Really nice mission. Congrats!
