  2. Very very nice camp! Actually, it's a game within itself and has so much potential for growth. Revolutionary may be a more appropriate word for this. Not finished. I've got one more contract to do. Just a few things: Anyways really really good stuff. I hope you add more missions to it and develop the story more!

    Version Updated to 1.1 on the first post. Decided to add NVG to player. As player, you can decide to use them or not. Note that I did NOT add them to all units. Thanks for your input! Change Log Version 1.1 -Added NV Goggles to Player in all missions only -Added NV Goggles to Enemy Patrol Leaders only -Increased enemy patrol groups by one unit -Fixed trigger in Phase 3 (Third Mission)
  7. I'm very embarresed to ask this. Seems like it would be mission making 101 but.....................um..........ah: How do I get six units in a Russian PBX? Player is s1. I'd like him as drive. PBX is pbx1 Teammates are s2, s3, s4, s5, s6. I tried this: s1 moveInDriver [pbx1, 0] and s1 getInDriver [pbx1, 0] and s2 moveInCargo [pbx1, 1] and s2 getInDriver [pbx1, 1] Just not working. Thank you for your help.

    This is one of those missions I keep coming back to and enjoy everytime. I have an idea or suggestion for a future future release/update: Change of concept actually. I suggest that player starts out better equipped. Get rid of the ammo/weapons caches located all over the place because it's not realistic that things would be this way in life (knowing fully well this is only a game). Instead, with a better equipped player at start, have the guard stations/stops and camps fully loaded caches with ammo and weapons that could be sold from that spot. Enough ammo and weapons that it will make up for what you will delete from the game, having it all over the place in homes and such. I know my suggestion is a concept changer, but it's only an idea, not a complaint.

    Please please, NO virtual ammo boxes. Please don't put one of those nasty boxes in to satisfy the little 16 year old pimply faced punk ass bitches. Seriously. Lock the player in with a load out that you think will fit the mission. Player has to "survive" and "adapt" to those conditions.

    Hi Mathius. Like the improvements so far. In the Intro and mission itself, bad guys are still using pistols. Looks like you'll need to delete pistols from those units, either individually or by grouping them and using a code in the leaders init box. With that being the case, the whole mission is one sided: Bad guys pistols, good guys rifles.

    Great to see that you're back in the saddle Wiki! You mentioned "East Wind". Sorry, I either don't know it or completely forgot. What is it about or better yet, where can I get a link for it? Also don't be afraid to use Addons. Players should be expecting to use them by now.

  17. Thanks Corporal Lib for the encouragement! Also, thanks Mathias. I think I need a bit more time. I still enjoy playing and making missions for A2. I just can't help it. I need a bit more time to play and study A3. That way, I can get more ideas to use (did I say....copy??) and that damn Editor. I just don't like the TASK system it uses. I still right up my briefings the old fashion way. And also, there is the Intro Outro stuff I have to learn all over again. I'll get back to you on this..................Thanks!

    I've got a guy using the toilet in one of my missions. Placed down the Latrine and had him sitting on it. It's the very first 2 minutes of the first mission. I've yet to pick up on the campaign and finish it.     Hi Sachiko! Long time no see, Hisashiburi! Anyways, I'm not using the old method for task done. That was the old BIS method for MP playing, getting the task done. Now, it should just show up as a HINT bubble like you mentioned. Tom3kb has been doing the same for his missions recently as well. Saves time as well as copy/paste mistakes. I'm using hint with parstext. Makes things easier. Don't have to type in so much now in the trigger init boxes. BUT...................!! You should get Mission endings for the last tasks/objectives and SUCCESS for the missions in between. I'll go back into the triggers and may add one more line to get the Green Task you're talking about, but again, you should get SUCCESS and finally MISSION DONE. I'm glad the NVG'S were not needed. I had thought there was enough light with it being full moon. I guess the game from one persons pc to another persons pc will be different. If I get one more comment about it being too dark, I'll add the NVG to the leader only and opfor patrol team leaders. Lastly, do try to finish it. You did the first two missions, so only two more left. I see you've moved to A3. It's just wonderful, isn't it! Love the detail and engine. I really hope to see more units and maps made for it. Anyways, mata atode! Ja ne! My daughter, 18, still in Fukuoka came by to visit me in Hong Kong. Now the son, 12, wants to see grandpa in the US. this summer. I can see you're using A3 engine. I have a feeling some of the scripts for A2 are not working, like TPW's House Lighting and the code I have in the GameLogics. I honestly don't know if the A3 has a Gamelogic in the editor. That base should be very very well lighted up and TPW does good for the town as well as the Gamelogics I placed Method: Editor--->Empty--->GameLogic Put down three of them.   25. #1, the aurthor of the work is a non-Native English speaker. Perhaps he could have asked to community for help with editing, but that is not always and easy thing to do. Especially if you don't know folks here. #2, story telling through cinematic is indeed a whole other skill that one must acquire. Not only that, it is an art form in itself. I recommend you give the campaign another try. Just use the cheat keys to skip the first few missions you already have done and continue on.
