Another question I have is.. 1. When the player enters a copter it will get it's view "fixed" till the copter unload the player. Is this intentional? Great campaign so far. Thanks

To make it more human like, a randomness can always be put in. Example from Spamurai, to prevent the expected reaction of AI getting pinned down, maybe a function to call for "special" action can be factored in. Such as a dash of bravery to the pinned down soldier to do a "run for ya life" to the other side... But surely more juice will be drawn from the CPU cycle. Then again... some people will say it's a BUG.... -

How bout for quad cores users, do we still need to put in exThreads=7 ? I recall it was not necessary anymore.

Great! Can't wait for it. This mod is really mind blowing... especially the low land terrain, really great to see such detailed jungle map yet sustaining so high FPS. -

Easier way is to shoot them with the static guns. Once you flatten all 3 relay station, the mission trigger will be activated.

Well it doesn't. It will just enhance the atmosphere of the game. As most of the AI units you have with you normally are probably cloned out of the lab or twins or triplet or quadruplet. It's a simple request I hope, as all the necessary items are already in-game, just when the game engine "generate" AI units, why not use those in-game asset to personalize or individualize the AI units rather than just plain old same AI. Just generate a squad of 10 and you will see that majority of them have the same exact face. So just to add more flavor get those game asset like glasses... etc on them. Ah.. honestly I didn't go through that thread as well.... But from that thread, I believe it's more of customizing our own avatar rather than the generic AI units fighting along with you. So it's 2 different thing I guess... :)

Is the playback video really that pixellated or just the lite version? playback seems to be of a low quality conversion. -

I remember someone did a video on this issue and posted it in youtube on the damage done to AI after a certain number of headshots. It's a bug not mistaken.

How bout creating an endless waves of mindless PLA grunts,tanks,plane coming towards you and your fireteam of ONLY 4 or 5, with endless ammunition cache just right beside you so you could kill them all and call it REALISTIC fun....? hmmm..

It's doable as I joined Charlie Foxtrot as well, but the time difference might be a factor for some of us.

Best to create a clan, as the ping will kill most of us in AP to join Euro/US based server. If you guys decided to create a clan, count me in. Might want to do a simple count here.... Who is located within China/HK/Taiwan/JPN/South East Asia (SEA)...

Just revisited back this thread w the new 1.3 stable. Must say that it really work wonders now and the jittery is no more to be found. Only issue I am facing, config to be exact is that when playing as infantry, the unit tends to slant to the side (right or left). I have played around with the roll (rotx) settings but to no avail. Anyone can share their settings so that the player don't slant too easily w slight movement?
