*checks the time* Well not a full year this time... I'm tree months early! I see the topic has grown with some ~30 pages since last time. So Arma III is in alpha and still no sign of female combatants? It makes kinda disappointed, as about 90% of those that voted wither wanted or wouldn't mind having them in. I mean even DayZ have them, so it can't be that bloody hard for the real developers to add them? If this is wrong and they have confirmed something I've missed I apologize.

Yeah, that poll is not my doing, it have been added by someone over the year. However in my OP I said: "No matter what you have say about the females in various countries today (Not only the US as so many refers to) the future story of Arma 3 seems to call for irregulars and desperate messures." But people with a sexistic/matcho side, choose to disregard from that. So They have said for over a year ago that there would be no women that can fight in ARMA 3? Where? If so, I can only hope they have changed thier minds by now.

So after one year since I made this topic I find it again (with 89 pages!) through a link in another forum. Now the OP was not that long and not hard to understand I hope, but I do see ALOT of "U.S army dont have female infantry" or "NATO don't have..." etc. But as I said last year, resistance forces should by all means have female troopers, there are plenty of examples or rebel/guerilla/resistance movments that have used females (and children. Not gonna poke that issue even with a stick) to fight. Desperation makes possibilities and that is not something new, even large countries will enlist females if they have the need (like the volksturm of 1945*] for it. Very well said, this is pretty much what I tyed to say too. Many refers to the military in the US today, but this game is in the future. as Sky999 said about Israel: Well that would be the same in the bitter senario in Arma 3.

...The females in Arma 2 was on pair with the wildlife, which is kinda odd and lazy of the developers. This time according to the story, the "main" faction is about to be "driven in to the sea", this means they are probably pretty desperate, that means enlisting every able man OR woman. No matter what you have say about the females in various countries today (Not only the US as so many refers to) the future story of Arma 3 seems to call for irregulars and desperate messures. And of course all the girls that play arma 2 will probably love to have female soldiers in the game.

This looks very nice, I hope you get this to work. This game in not complete without armed females!

Yeah that is how it is, it plain sucks. BIS was a bit to lazy on that point. Having the female population in the game behave on pair with say... a dog or cow is just wrong.

Aww.. Still no pistol holster. :butbut: And the patch did not do much to improve, but atleast they are patching!
