    Are these the same game mode or something ? if so why do they have different names ?

    Is there anyway i can play these games modes singleplayer against the AI so i can get to grips with how they work ? Is there some kind of detailed tutorial for the game modes ?

    any help would be great

    I've seen them (particularly one) act childish at times. Any negative criticism is pushed towards massive topics no one reads ect.

    Stardock forums are a lot cleaner than blizzards which I had the misfortune of visiting today. Felt like I was redirected to 4chan or another awful site like that..

    a certain mr placebo seems to take things a bit too far, maybe enjoys his power a bit too much. seen him have some of the most retarded and petty arguments on other forums such as gamespot and then acts all high and mighty when a few people argue on this forum.

    other mods seem fine though :cool:

    lol at you all cussing him because he asked for a cheat, oh noes what a crime... some of you really need to leave your houses more often.

    does it matter if he wants to cheat ? it's his game, him cheating is not going to affect you in anyway is it ? pmsl at someone saying to "ban him", christ i dread to think what kind of person you must be like in real life, acne ridden no doubt.

    ok been playing on sahrani for past hour or so, i can't believe how well it runs.

    i completely maxed out everything, AA on high and view distance on 10,000m (which puts the terrain detail down to normal for some reason ?) and it ran at about 50fps with no drops or anything. this was with heavy rain. didn't matter if i was in a city or flying... it ran unbelievably well, infinitely better than cheranus which i can only get about 4000m view distance with AA on Low/Medium (and it always chokes up in cities and whilst flying).

    so yeah, does this mean that the cheranus map is just poorly designed and thats the reason for all these poor frame rates so many moan about ?

    Hi mate,

    It is quite simple, here is an even simpler method as opposed what is mentioned on the website for those who are not soo computer literate:

    1. Make one folder in your Arma 2 directory with the following path:

    Arma 2\@CAA1\Addons

    2. Download all files stated on the website into this folder (there are 50 in total)

    3. Install winrar to unzip all files

    4. Ctrl A to select all files and right click and hit extract files

    5. Add the following to your Arma 2 shortcut, by right clicking the shortcut -> properties and in the target box add: -mod=@CAA1 (behind "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\arma2.exe" )

    That is it!

    Trust me it is well worth it!

    What are the chances of this being patched or a mod being made which gives decent looking muzzle flash.

    the default muzzle flash for all guns is absolutely ridiculous, it's got to be the worst muzzle flash i have ever seen in any game... at night time the game looks amazing, until you fire your gun and your presented with a muzzle flash which looks like it was made for NES game.

    Hi

    I want to simply be able to test out all the weapons nice and simply, i know you can do this in the armory but that requires me having to do tasks to unlock everything and tbh im not really into the tasks it gives you.

    Is there any other way i can test out all the weapons ? perhaps via the editor ? if so could someone pls describe how to set it up ?
