    This is how 10.8 worked for me, yes both gpus are now working but not as well as they do when the change exe trick is used !

    it seems the first gpu is hit quite hard, then when it reaches around 85 88 % use then you see the other one start to load up.

    using the exe change both gpus load evenly throughout and performance is much better

    all sorted back to arma2oa and all is well, very well actually :-)

    ok so I tried the re name trick ( which didnt work out to well with 10.6) with 10.7

    Now Arma 2 oa is running almost as well as Arma 2 both cards are being utilised well , game settings on highest, 5870s stock clocks, v-sync on 60 fps for a good deal of the time, drops to mid 40s in villages etc.

    I guess Ill have to settle for that at this time.

    cant belive Ati didnt include a crossfire profile with this driver release !

    Is anyone else experiencing major stability issues with these drivers,

    crash dump says

    Error during v-buffer creation: error 8876017c

    that I belive is a vram issue, dropped the settings back to nowt and still the same !!

    I do belive I have enough vram ( quad sli gtx295's)

    load editor, jump in an A 10 ( chenerus) fly south , solid fps then a couple of miles out boom everytime desk top with app still running ( usaull thing)

    ace on ace off same, I ve even reinstaled :-(

    I really dont want to roll back the driver as its so bloody good for all the other games im playing right now.

    Hi all

    first post here, .... great to see so many ppl passionate about their gaming :D

    As has been said b4 a few times on this thread, yea its potentially an historic game but at this time its not quite right, I too was dissapointed when I installed it but its playable and fun and we can all be assured that in time it will be perfect, we just need to chill 4 a while

    most of you know how to tweak your machines and Im sure most have done it b4 to optimize for crysis etc, so if your machine runs all your other games well then hey just hold fire ( sry 4 the pun there)

    PS: just added 190.38 drivers and testing still

    PSS : I dont think the sli patch nvidia sent out works with this new driver :-(
