Completed Badlands without using the endmission cheat and my squad wont follow my commands. Not a great start but i'll soldier on :p Just noticed I've started with a different gun, lost my units and also the money I had during Badlands too. Hmm...

open map. press zero, communications, transport (make sure your cursor is over your destination while you're doing this)
-
I board the helicopter with my squad first and then I open the map. Press 0 (zero)-Communications-Support-Transport- (Can't remember if Transport is the last option as I'm not in-game at the moment but make sure your cursor is pointing at your destination on the map when you click the final couple of options)

Yes he was at the main camp when i did this mission. It was a bit hard to find him as I'd called in an artillery strike and the bodies were scattered around. Look for an NPC wearing a balaclava, select one of you squad members (F2-F4), press 6, and there should be an option to search the body

Happened to me also. Had to revert to an earlier save unfortunately :(

As soon as the mission started I took the helicopter to the quarry. Killed the npc's there and Bardak showed up. I think I shot his car tyre and he got out of the car. Instead of staying with him and thus ending the mission, I left him and went and did the rest of the tasks, except for looking for Lopotev as I'd tried the mission several times before without being able to locate him. After the tasks were complete I flew back to the quarry and Bardak was still stood in the same position with his hands behind his head :). I headed towards him and finished the mission.

Look around the bodies 'til you find one wearing a balaclava. Aim at it, select one of you squad and press 6 and the you should be able to to get what you need

After you talk to the NPC by the well in Vyschnoy, head a little way south to the farm. The NPC you need to speak with is called Marek, i believe, and he stands outside the barn (which is to the left of the house if you approach the farm from the road).

I only used F2 and F3 squads and Razor to take the first town (Novy Sobor?). At the start of the mission i set 2 waypoints for each squad. The first waypoint was a little north of their position. The reason for this first waypoint was so that i could right-click on it and set a five minute time-out so i could move the second waypoint and set up some options for it (again by right-clicking the waypoint).
The second waypoint for these two squads was at the edge of the treeline facing towards the town. The options I set on these second waypoints was to 'Guard' and set stance as 'Danger' (which makes them go prone/stay low).
After I'd finished setting the options for this second waypoint I sent the two squads to it. Then I went to the treeline myself and fired off a few shots at the town to get the Cherdaki's attention. Then I started my flanking manouvre with Razor. I headed back to the position I was at at the start of the mission then went north-west, across the road and then proceeded south-west through the trees coming out at the town.
While I was progessing towards the town with Razor i was setting new waypoints for the F2 and F3 squads, getting them closer to the town. I managed to take the town with all my units still alive.
Hope this helps.

haven't played for a couple of days but look in the game manual. It uses some of the commands as if you are piloting a helicopter. On the right side of the screen is current altitude and set. when you press Q it sets the altitude higher and pressing Z lowers the altitude. Pressing F toggles between missiles and the laser designator.
