Hi I am loving this game but I am frustrated. I have just completed the manhatten tasks and been asked to return to base but when I get there the mission wont end as my team are currently sat in a helicopter above Gorka. It happened when we were flying to Gorka after taking out the main base, on the way I spotted a camp and ejected (a Battlefield 2 habit) and left the guys in there as I found it easier to take out three or four dudes on my own than to worry about my team getting shot. but the chopper is just hovering there. He responds with an "okay" when I request that he fly else where but the chopper does not move any where. I completed most of the tasks on my own thinking the chopper would run out of fuel, but no. So now when I return to the main officer dude he looks at me blankly with his leg stuck in a chair. Any ideas on how I can continue. 5 hours wasted otherwise. ---------- Post added at 10:25 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:56 PM ---------- sorted It wasnt pretty but it worked. I got in a hummer and went up to where my chopper was stranded in mid air and shot the rear prop out. The pilot done a good job of landing safely and my dudes got in my car. Blimey that took a while. If any one can think of a better way of sorting I will be glad to hear it. D

Hi I had the same problem (at differing points in the manhatten level), i had been saving regularly though as i kept on getting nailed and liked to revert to latter part of the game. When I encountered the same problem I went into the folder that the save games are kept (C:\Users\Dean\Documents\ArmA 2\Saved\ca\missions\campaign on vista but your name might not be Dean obviously) and renamed my latest save game(save9.ArmA2Save) to "autosave.ArmA2Save" and it worked. Seems as though the saving feature cocks up sometimes. So save regular and use this method. My save was 2 minutes before an autosave so I was lucky. Think of it as saving a really long Word doc you are writing every ten minutes or just before your about to get killed by a bullet point. D
