No solution but I can confirm the problem with both ArmA2 and OA. Using onboard Realtek HD audio, drivers 2.51, Dolby Digital Live and a toslink connection to my receiver. PS: I have a SB X-Fi Titanium hanging around, will see if I find time to install it and check how it works in DDL and DTS Interactive.

Can anyone else confirm the change with the "Swap Gunner" key action? M1A2 For example until now in a M1A2 pressing the key would change the positions: Driver->Gunner->Commander->Gunner->Commander->Gunner->.... With this beta: Driver->Loader->Commander, key action stops working because you Turn out as Commander. Turn in, use the swap key (Commander->Loader->Commander) and key stops working again. With this beta the thermal sight effect is very toned down. Also the "Swap Gunner" key action has changed. Check if ArmA2.cfg is read-only.

I have a problem with SIX Updater. After the last update all presets attempt to install or update all mods on the six network. Even if I create a no mod preset and I attempt to sync with it, it will try to download all mods and it will have 68 mods attached to it.

Had one yesterday and of course it had to be while being pilot and moving the MHQ :). So you are not alone.

After Play.com moved the date I canceled my preorder and got it from Steam.

Problem might be Windows x32 vs Windows x64. Don't yet have Arrowhead but in Windows 7 x64 I have no "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Bohemia Interactive Studio\ArmA 2" but "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Bohemia Interactive Studio\ArmA 2"

As posted to the Steam forums. My Steam ArmA2 was already patched to 1.07 and automatic updates were off. Before enabling the update I kept a copy of the ArmA2 directory. After starting the update Steam kept only 1000MB from the 8500MB Addon directory leaving me to to download 7500MB. I paused the update, copied the backed up Addon directory back and verified the game cache. Now Steam deleted about 500MB of addons and tried to redownload them. Paused again copied the missing addons from the backup and verified again. ArmA2 was now fully updated. Something interesting. The patched up 1.07 Addon directory is the same with the Steam 1.07 Addon directory. Why Steam couldn't verify the files before deleting them?

Arma settings that I am using for testing are VD 10k, Memory: Default,Terrain :Normal,PP:Off,everything else VH. With vertical sync on I have completed close to 20 runs with half of them getting the "Receiving" message. Tried once with vertical sync off but arma dropped me to desktop and had to close through task manager. Used your own arma settings with vertical sync off and I got the "Out of Memory" error. Tried again with vertical sync on and it completed with once displaying "Receiving". Could you try vertical sync on?

@MavericK96 I did some tests for the problem I had, and things seem a lot better with the new beta. My test scenario of BM_coastalFlight.Chernarus.pbo from ArmA2 FPS Analyzer that always CTD or produced graphical errors on the 1st loop, I have managed to pass 5 tests, with only once getting the "Receiving" message. Can you retest too for problems?

Text search in EXE file, searching for any of the known parameters brings you to the sections with them (2 sections ASFAIK).

@MavericK96 I have reported the same problems with yours in dev-heaven just a bit earlier, so you are not alone. For me Chernogorsk has become a no fly zone, as the problem intensifies there. On MP I usually set View Distance 5000-8000 depending and it has a negative effect on stability. I think the problem is being worked on by BIS as in the latest betas I noticed a new command line "maxVRAM=", I tried setting some different values at it but couldn't notice any difference.

What you downloaded is a self extracting archive, when it asks you for a file location it asks where to unpack the files contained. After that you must run the setup.exe in the location you chose. Also, the directx redist at arma2.com is an old March 2009 version, latest is February 2010.

Checked online and Intel®G33/G31 supports only Shader Model 2 thus incompatible with ArmA 2. You will need a new graphics card to play ArmA 2. Better post your full specs of your PC for upgrading advice if you want.
