is it the ram i need 2 upgrade??? it has just gone my birthday so im buying new parts like power supply because myn is crap, ram ,motherboard ,ati 4850 and a prossesor because my comp is old hahaha iv only got 768 mb of ram is that my problem?

i have a very bad and annoying texture problem and i dont know what it is please helpim using a geforce 7600gs and im getting my 450 watt power supply on thursday please help:(
