Yeah, all the issues people are having are causing me to wait to purchase the game. I'm enjoying ArmA and the ArmA 2 demo for now!

The way you're attacking everyone sure makes it obvious who "da kids" are. I updated from 9.6 myself, and also added some switches to the game at the same time. All the more reasons I'm waiting to buy the game...I want to, soooo bad, but in the meantime I'm playing ArmA 1 and enjoying it, but its hard!! lol I just suck at tactical games I think, aiming is my biggest problem. I will be buying ArmA 2 as soon as major issues are resolved.

Navy Corpmen serve in Marine units as their medics. The Marines has Doctors (Officers), but no enlisted medical personal.

I'm EXTREMELY interested in this game, and I have VERY high hopes for it... That being said, I haven't purchased it yet...I'm waiting to see how the next patch or two are received by the community. I'm hoping bugs are ironed out, AI bugs and scripting/trigger bugs first, performance as well if it can be optimized further. I promise BI, I will buy ArmA 2, but only if critical bugs are resolved!

I changed msconfig to only use 3072MB memory, and it worked, but ran like crap, so I tried the '-window' method and it worked like a charm!

I have this exact problem as well. I decided to support the series and grab a copy of ArmA from Steam...it launches at liek 640x480 and takes 1-2 minutes to do anything then I hear some sounds, and get a few grayish blocks on the screen. This just cost me 20 bucks...what the heck
